So name changes are coming out soon as most of you now know. If we do decide to pay to change our name how exactly do you guys think it will work?

At the moment we just type in our usernames to log-in, like I type Lostaces then enter my password. If we do change our names as if I were to change mine to Aceslost (terrible name - just an example) would I still type in Lostaces to log-in or would I type in Aceslost to log-in?

Hopefully we login with our new names, although on other previous games I used to play one such as runescape, I changed my name many of times, however I always logged in with my original username. Maybe it's a good idea logging in with are original name, but will our first user name be up for grabs? Will this cause confusion if we're trying to recover an account? Lets hope this update goes well!

Yeah, sadly the answer isn't out there so I was seeing if anyone possibly did, like a mod or someone. I guess we will just see if they make our current names an overall account name or if we just log-in under the new name.

Would be nice if name changing was free. Although, since not everyone wants to pay to change their names. This will leave alot more options of names to choose from. Also the names won't be taken up as fast, which is good.

If name changing was free, people would abuse it way too much. Since it will be pay-to-change, people likely wont be changing their name every few days because it'll cost them money to do so, thus limiting the amount of crap people can cause.

The purchasing will be made by fraises only, sorry to disappoint if you was hoping to pay by cheese.

You do realize fraises are their primary source of income? For example, Runescape you have to be a member in order to change your name. These features aren't going to be free.

I'm excited. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna change my username but it depends on the prize. If it's really 600-1000 fraises then I most probably won't do it. Also, I really hope that there will be an 'original nickname' thing in the profile so people won't be confused about who is who.

Yes it would be nice, but it won't happen. There would be too many abusive situations with that deal.

What about cheeseformice names?

I'm sure they would update as well, it's the same situation with some inappropriate names. Cfm uses tfm's api so I'm guessing nothing will change. When Tinycock got his name changed it updated instantly on cfm

There's always going to be abusive situations to deal with, especially now you can add numbers to your name. I'm sure there's many inappropriate name being created at this moment in time. On top of that technology is growing stronger each day, hackers are more of a problem than silly foolish nick names.

Just more work for moderators then, admins work to patch hacks everyday. There's always some way to bypass shit, they'll never be able to get rid of all hacks.

If it cost more than 1000+ fraises then probably few peoples will change their nicknames.Most of them will say "Why i need to change mine nickname for more than 1000 fraises when i can buy stuff".
