This suggestion is pretty much as simple as the title implies.

Usually when a post you have made is to be removed at your request, a staff member must do it for you after you report it. I would assume and correct me if I'm wrong, that this can take up a considerable amount of time and resources that could be devoted to solving other problems.

I think that the player/user should have the option to remove their own post which sends an automatic report for admin purposes etc., in case the post contained something that might be noteworthy to sentinels and the like (such as an offensive post or anything else you can think of). I feel that this should be restricted to posts on other forums only and not threads in their entirety, in case clarification is necessary.

For the EN sentinel team it's not really a problem having reports asking for posts to be removed, since we have a decently sized team that are around 24/7 to check on things. For other community's sentinel teams I imagine it could potentially be an issue though.

I think this suggestion is fine and I wouldn't mind seeing it added, people can essentially remove their post anyway by editing it to have almost no content, and I see this happening all the time (especially when there are things like accidental double posts). +1 for the idea.
