One could argue they had promised every aspect of the game would have remained free after adopting the business model, buuuuut whatever, not entirely their fault if they need more money to keep running

I think for a week or so we should have both usernames, maybe the old one under the new one, that way people will know what you changed your user to and it won't get confusing.

To allow friends to recognize you. most games that do thing only have your old name show up on a friends list, not in public.

they said at the beginning of june they would release it in a few weeks and its already the 4th of july AND ALL THEY DID WAS UPDATE THE MENU AND THE UPDATE LOOKS TERRIBLE

Nobody knows for certain, but it's definitely coming soon, so a month is a safe guess.
(Also why would this be a 2 month event? something must be happening somewhere in the middle to keep things interesting right? That seems to be what they want to do with all the super short events right?)

Been waiting a really long time for this update. Not complaining, because I know it takes time and effort, but I cannot wait until it is released. I would feel 100 times better playing this game if I didn't have this god awful username.
