Because rowlet is a starter It will more than likely have a shiny variant because All the starter Pokemon have shiny variants .

I might just use the Masuda method to try to get mine.

a ton of people think the starters will be shiny locked since theyve been locking shinies that have cutscenes and theres a ton of cutscenes revealed with your starter

serebii knows as much as we know Epalk, they aren't Pokemon, that's just an assumption. You honestly never know with Pokemon, it could be like that, it might not, there's a more creative since to using moves certain ways and Pokemon is known for that, I'd doubt they'd stop at just "the enemies attack."

Imagine a substitute being used at the cost of no health for one turn, that could be pretty creative imo. There's basically a lot of room for Pokemon to expand on this ability, And we already know from other abilities, Pokemon abilities aren't even just what their description says.
