Why should it be free just because it's new? The iPhone 6 was recently released and that costs money, just like most things that people put time and effort into creating and need to be paid for in order to live. Just because they've released browser based games for free doesn't mean that the mobile market is the same, it's completely different and any micro-transaction would be a lot less efficient for their business, and there's a lot of ethics surrounding micro-transactions, most people shun it as being bad.

Also it's not like Atelier is just "out there to get money" as they've proved several times in the past. It's not guaranteed to have no crashes or bugs, but that's just like any software, there's a reason that the App Store allows developers to push patches including bug fixes and new features.

If you don't like the price tag, don't pay, but bear in mind that it's a different game, different platform, different financial model, and nothing like Transformice, - I don't believe the two games can be fairly compared like that.

It is not the matter of money but in turns they should have free trail. What happens to those with no money or not allowed by parents to buy thing on apps store, Like i said,they could make it like TFM and have special tokens. I am proud that Atelier created mobile apps but i think it would be better to remover the pricetag.
