Big news guys, yours truly, #godlymapmaker has taken his maps one step further

Into the real world!!!! No but seriously :) Transformice's very own Mousechris will be competing in the regional competition for STEM Technics robots, hopefully afterwards, State, it's a really big deal. I'm not sure if it's a big enough deal to make a thread about it, but I'm sure I could for the proceeding days that this takes place.

Anyway, so what will be happening is I've won entrance into an invitational for Lego Technics robots, and my team will be doing the Sumo Challenge portion. Here is us with the robot that will be entering the competition.



In the picture you'll find me (left) my partner for the competition (right) and in the middle is my school's vice principal, I'll (or should I say my team) be representing the entire school in the competition.

I'm going to keep updating this thread as the competition happens, mostly because I really don't know much about it myself, our team won the school wide event and so now we head to regionals, literally this coming Monday I had a single day to get the paper work in but it's all good \o I don't know what the competition will look like, what room it's in etc, only the robotics teachers know this.

The Robot you see in the video is named Angle, it lost only a single time in the double elimination challenge against the entire school, even though it appears to already be great, were still going to need a ton of luck on our side to beat all the robots within the entire school district, so wish us good luck everyone, I personally will represent Transformice in this event :)

yes it's Lego Technics :) they do competitions every year for Lego Technic stuff

affffff forgot about this

well 8 days late but here we go time to deliver the bad news :(

Our team (for the sumo) got out in the very first two rounds, we honestly just got incredibly unlucky xD for the first round the robot just happened to enter the rim at such a bad angle that it got itself stuck, resulting in the other robot being able to just push it off, which btw, was a very nooby robot, it had almost no chance of winning. >:I

Then for the 2nd round, the robot we faced just happened to have more power in it's motor. Resulting in us being pushed off :/

Anyway, I actually tried taking video, but my phone ran out of memory. But even if I did, it was nothing like I imagined it :/ it wasn't all that epic at all.

But good news tho, the school I had been representing got 2nd place over all, and 1st place in the dragster robot challenge :p and 2nd place in this cube rangler thing. Better yet we were novices in the veteran division. So we beat their asses for sure.

Unfortunately for the sumo bot I made, we had a week to build it, and the others had all year :/ so yeah, we weren't prepared it seems.

I'm gonna ask a sent to lock the thread now that the events done, and now that, well, I've lost and won't be continuing on to anything, lol.
