Baasbase gets disqualified because his friends vote for him? Yea I'm sure the other people exclusively get votes from people they don't know. Changing my vote Bakpaofgunz who's nearly as pro as Baasbase. Dernière modification le 1411999500000 |

While we're unfairly disqualifying users simply because they're in the same tribe, why not consider disqualifying Solfn, who has already won once? That's much more unfair to other players in my eyes. Tribe members can play together and find them the best. There's no harm in that. I would also like to vote for Bakpaofgunz, for the record. And my tribe is The Furry Revolution if you so care to know. |

Baasbase is a great player, just because all of those people are in the same tribe you accuse him of cheating? I cast my vote for Toothless. |

Not sure if toothless still plays, but if so, vote for him. |

No, baasbase was disqualified because he accumulated enough votes to win in just 1 or 2 days, rather than being voted for over the whole month. That draws large amounts suspicion that he asked for votes. Also, you can disqualify me, but it's really up to what the players decide. If they want me to win twice, then that's their decision. But Commie is winning right now. |

solfn a dit : Senior year of high school, everyone was going to vote for the football star as prom king. 1 hour before prom (aka while everyone was at dinner with their groups), a mass text was sent out to vote for me instead. I didn't ask. I won. It happens. Vote for Haruhitastic. |

I hate people who think their smart enough to just say "OH but he wasn't asking for votes! We just all decided that we're going to be friends, and vote for baasbase." Seriously. then when he gets disqualified you all vote for another friend. Its just like a favo in tfm. Sometimes you don't ask for it but your friend still does it for you. |

holistergo a dit : by this logic there should be a rule saying you cant vote for your friends. imagine. |

A contest that's supposed to be for fun has really taken a serious turn, hasn't it? You're disqualifying a user over a suspicion you have over something that, quite honestly, should be allowed in the first place -- The fact that friends (and tribe-mates) can't even vote for someone they enjoy playing with is absurd and wrong. I don't think it matters if someone gets a strange influx of votes; if they aren't caught asking for votes/they aren't breaking any rules and you have no legitimate proof of them doing so then there's nothing you can really do about it. Even then I think it's ridiculous for a contest that really means nothing, it is for fun right? Right?.. |

There are people here who are working extremely hard for recognition from the community and it just gets taken away from them. A vote from somebody you don't know is much harder to get than a vote from someone you know. Out of my votes, 4 people are people I have regular contact with. (excluding myself) But yes, this is just for fun. However, people can turn it into a competition by using whatever methods they can. A whole tribe vote for one person is a competitive move. |

People shouldn't be trying to get recognition, that's already an issue. The only one's who are making this competitive are the ones who are taking this competitively. If you're doing things just to get recognition then you're doing things for the wrong reasons, and that's that. Once again it shouldn't matter for a contest that's only for fun, it's not like there's any prizes involved or anything for people to get mad about. Something that may come off as a "competitive" move could be just some friends doing a nice thing, though I wouldn't expect someone to see it that way when they've already won once and are about to win again. |

Yes, I agree that it is just friends trying to do their thing, but it is their intention to make a particular person win, and that is a competitive move. I'm not trying to say this is a competition. Commie is ahead of me, and I'd rather pass on this month's win rather than taking it two months in a row. The whole vote thing is bad right now because we don't have enough neko players. |

We are voting on our favorite for best player of the month. The whole thread is literally about picking your favorite. Seems a bit pointless to say you are favoing. |

I mean no one is actually to be blamed or at fault, its just a very unfair situation thats all. |

If the entire point of the thread existing is being "unfair" then it probably shouldn't exist in the first place, people vote for their favorite but just because a small group of people in particular come in and vote for one person (and not you) makes the entire thing wrong, you know this just doesn't make sense right? solfn a dit : It's only a competitive move if you see it as one and if you really don't care about winning or don't take this contest seriously then you most likely wouldn't see it that way. Once again it's not unfair that people vote for their friends which can be their favorite player because they probably play together all the time. What's unfair is taking something so far as to disqualifying a player that did absolutely nothing wrong. And who's to say most people here aren't defending this because they favor the other party, wouldn't that be favoring as well rather then being unbiased about the situation? I don't know neither of you well enough but it's pretty easy to tell that some people are taking this a bit too seriously. solfn a dit : If this isn't a competition then a group of people voting for one person in a short amount of time shouldn't matter and should be allowed regardless of the situation as long as they've followed the rules. As I've already said nothing has been proven right now and people are going off a suspicion, seems unfair to me for sure. solfn a dit : That'll just lead to more people voting for one person, I don't see others getting disqualified for this because I thought it was something that's apart of voting contests regardless of profiling. I thought I told you lot not to argue in this thread. Anyways, I don't think I'll be doing this again because it seems a lot of people have disagreed with my choices over my contest. So if anyone wants to carry on the voting contest, by all means go for it. |

Shadebluhart a dit : Report it if it bothers you, but their points are valid. Consider listening rather than telling them rather than just disqualifying because you THINK someone's asking. |
