Welcome to my map archive~ Here you can see the @codes of my maps with some images. You may play them in your tribe house using the /np @code. Some of you may or may not be surprised that I dislike soulmate maps, especially player-made ones. My my, I'm such a hypocrite. Anyway, at least this one doesn't have trampoline or lava things that I so utterly hate in some soulmate maps. This is also one of the old maps that I'd rather keep as P0, than P1 just because of the vote count. @163837 – Nooby Gate [VIRGIN MAP] At the time I made this map, I was still unaware that shamans would spawn in all player-made maps. This is designed to be completed without the shaman, since the ice block descends and after a minute or so, the mice who don't walljump can get the hidden cheese and run to the hole. I added the lava on top to prevent trolls from climbing over to the other side. Uh, at least it's free saves? It's deleted now because of a votebot, so perhaps I'll renew the map. @173241 – Knight on Field This is the third version of this map!!1 The first two versions were deleted because they were apparently crash maps [which they're not]. I changed the map to this version. I also switched the XML to this lower @code because people keep copying the XML of my map without my permission. They have, in fact, had their copies of my map protected. The world is so fair. @173244 – Shaman Button Elevator Even though the @code of this map is low, it has few votes because it has been permanent for most of its life. I'm still trying to get this map to the P6 rotation because I thought it fitting that the first true elevator in the map rotation at least deserved a spot there. I made it during a time when all the other elevators were powered by runes or balloons. Since my internet gave me late anchor spawn, I found shaman objects too unreliable for maps. I thus opted instead to make my mechanism purely out of grounds and anchors. @185516 – Shaman See-saw My first permanent map! It was permed before my elevator one was made permanent The shaman is in a cage, and drops stuff [commonly anvils, I'd imagine] on one side of the see-saw, and doing so lifts the other side, which would probably contain mice. I had it depermed so I can make the shaman cage less ugly. It is now happily protected again after being hit by a votebot. @209446 – X, No-B [VIRGIN MAP] Room shaman difficulty 7 When I first submitted this to the shaman room, the mod said it was "too easy". So I added a no-B challenge!!1 It's inspired by the designs of the Knt and Temple shaman maps that are simply-made, but tough to complete. Still, this is the first map I got in room shaman, and my first [and hopefully last] no-B map! Ever since the build-a-thons *COUGHMikszaCOUGH* started flooding the map rotation, I've grown tired of things like No-B, and prefer the puzzle-type shaman maps. One thing I hate about this map is that some mice keep bootcamping their way to the cheese. AS IF THEY'D GAIN ANYTHING!!1 >:( @212456 – Sleepless' ShamCage Map Room shaman difficulty 6 I thought of this map myself, and I was under the impression that I was the first to make this map, until Temple showed me the image of Sleepless' map that was made before mine. Anyway, to make up for my mistake, I name that map "Sleepless". It's appalling how high its difficulty rating is, when I consider it a stupidly easy map. [Then again, as Epi said, all (puzzle) maps are easy once you figure out the solution.] I think, when a mod saw that the @code for this map is later than the another one, he probably thought I copied THAT person. Hence, my map was automatically removed. @216341 – Big Ice Block with Shaman Cage Below Room shaman difficulty 8 Okay, this one IS tough. I made sure though, that there is a way for the shaman to get saves without resorting to balloons of shame, or spirits of only-pros-can-finish. There is roof placed to prevent the shaman from spiriting the mice over the ice block. The shaman can certainly try building around the edge of the roof, AS IF IT'S POSSIBLE. Oh, and now it has a teddy. Thanks to my tribemates for suggesting. @221390 – Sailing for Cheese [VIRGIN MAP] This looks really funny in snow! The mice have to get on the shifty-looking boat [that spawns horribly in snow] to get to the island with cheese on the tree. People with wider screens get treated to a fuller view of the tree, simply because I wanted the boat trip to be longer. @221535 – Wheel of Fortune [VIRGIN MAP] Mice enter the ghost plank in the wheel and get off at the point of their choosing. They may get off immediately to the cheese on the right, or wait until the wheel gets to the lower left. If they can walljump at the right speed, they'll get their first. Shaman is very free to spirit-glitch the wheel. ;) @223412 – Surfacing Islands on Lava The old version of this map is apparently a duplicate of my Sailing for Cheese map. It got deleted by some mod for I don’t know what reason. I made this version for the April 2012 map contest thing, since I don’t want to waste @codes. @232697 – Shaman Above Button Gates I had a lot of fun testing this one. This is actually the third version of this map. I think it is improved since the mechanism that triggers the gates are all grounds, which means there is a lower chance of spawn-fail. I strongly encourage shamans to find ways of opening the gates other than pressing the buttons. A little trivia: The "hidden floor" on the left is actually a roof to protect the mechanism that triggers the ice gate to open. It is not intended to allow shamans to use spam solutions. @232698 – Ice Cross Cage Room shaman difficulty 6 I didn't have a good solution for this by the time I submitted it! By good, I mean no cheese walljump necessary. I saw this map being tested in room shaman, and it seems to be one of the easiest acceptances. I wonder if the aesthetics won them over. Hmm. Maybe they're all just Christians. Only the floor above is not ice. @232701 – Shaman Death Trap 1 Room shaman difficulty 5 [img] http://i.imgur.com/JcdM8.png[/img] This is possibly one of the top 3 most tested maps in room shaman in its time. The reason is the first time I submitted it, the mechanism below makes it such that the trapdoor drops too fast. The shaman gets killed before even being able to spawn anything. I was a tester twice myself, the first time when the map FIRST came to be tested, and I didn't realize I was going to be shaman, and I was typing as the map started. The other was when the second version got tested, and I again didn't realize I was shaman. The mechanism below drops faster the more mice there are that step on the ice button. And since there are typically 30~40 mice during testing... >_> @234373 – Cheese in Ice Hole Room shaman difficulty 6 This appears to be one of my most popular shaman maps. It was first accepted as part of the room shaman rotation the way you see it in the image. When Baffler added it to the P2 rotation, people complained that the cheese was too low. I did in fact intend that the cheese be very low to require the shaman to build something that drops below the visible screen, but allows mice to land safely nonetheless. It’s easier now, and people don’t get to play it often anyway. I’m open to having the map updated aesthetically, but an update would probably mean that it would be taken off the P4 rotation. It is my first P4 map, and not my last. @234374 – Cannon Shot This map can be relaxingly easy, or frustratingly difficult, depending on your aim. As such, people had a hard time deciding what difficulty it should be when they added it in room shaman. When it got too hard to decide, they just removed it. @234665 – Hole Block Trap 1 Room shaman difficulty 5 This is a science map with a gimmick to make it more interesting, I hope. It's rather frustrating that most shamans do boring ramps on this one. I specifically made this map for people who want more fun solutions than boring ramps. Oh well, at least I've not seen people use balloons here yet. @234668 – Platform and Wall This map is not possible without the ground contact properties, so it’s fairly new. Depends on what the shaman uses, it may or may not be wise to disrupt the mechanism, which is also tougher considering the visible dynamic grounds cannot touch other shaman objects. @252937 – Amulet Cage [VIRGIN MAP] Room shaman difficulty 7 [img] http://i.imgur.com/fkOfu.png [/img] I was annoyed of all the build-a-thons as usual, so I decided to add a cage map to the rotation. This one isn't hard as long as you are good at puzzles, even possible on your first try if you're familiar with how I usually solve maps like these! Also, I just thought of calling it Amulet Cage since the chocolate thing in the middle looks like a stone on a necklace, and I think "triangle cage" isn't distinct enough. @252952 – Press Button for Shaman I was inspired by Artkiller's button map [the one where the mice are in a cage far above], so I made an inverted version originally for room shaman, with a little more challenge to make the shaman build stuff. Validating this is the trickiest bit. I wonder what made people vote no. I think room shaman needs more easy maps. @256556 – Aquarium This is the third version of my map! I think the first one got deleted since it fail-spawned. This one is quite memorable for me since this is when I really stated to care about making maps that look good. I devised a way to make the ice spawn without freezing the mice at the start. This one, again, got hit by a votebot. I’ll try to make this map better to perhaps earn it a spot in the P5 rotation. @263772 – Choco Sweeper I don’t know how many previous maps I’ve had for this @code, but I’ve decided to settle for this one. I think the chocolate is perhaps too thin, being 10pixels wide. I wouldn’t want to alter the “sweepiness” of the choco bar, though. This can be rather entertaining to validate. I hope it works well with lots of mice, though. @263777 – V Cage Room shaman difficulty 5 So I wanted to make a new science map. I didn't want to make it look like all the rest, and I wanted the forklift to be an available solution. So I made this. I will make the chocolate things in the middle have less friction. Someday. Maybe. @263781 – Box Stairs Science Room shaman difficulty 4 I made this map specifically for my box stairs. I wonder how many people would accuse me of making a build-a-thon. It's not straightforward at all, and many solutions are possible. A build-a-thon is a straightforward map where all the solutions, basically, look the same. The difficulty is only a feature that some build-a-thons have, but it's not what makes a build-a-thon. The reason I called them build-a-thons is because the only challenge the shaman would have on them is to build them as fast as possible, which doesn't necessarily mean they have to build fast to pass it. Then again, my own definition of build-a-thon is wrong, of course, even though I was the one who came up with that word. @263783 – Reach for the Cheese [VIRGIN MAP] I'm sort of frustrated with all these maps where the only solution seems to be motor anchors or other form of Transformice physics abuse. So I decided to add a cage map that's solvable without motor anchors. This map is easy to anyone who likes puzzles, but may be troublesome to those who prefer straightforward solutions. @263784 – Flying Mice Room shaman difficulty 7 Another science map! This one twist here is more of a limited anchor challenge than a gimmick! Shamans are not allowed to attach any anchor in the chocolate, but are free to use any anchors outside. I made this with the intention of encouraging shamans to use ratapults. Hence, I called it "Flying Mice" Be careful when building. If you make a B plank in the cloud, the map might suddenly be no-B, and you're in for a whole new challenge! @269622 – Pros Assisting Newbies Through Ice, Ensnared Shaman This is a racing map I bet I'll fail so bad if I ever get it! I'm not good at playing at all, as my main source of entertainment in Transformice lately is from making maps. However, what I wanted to do with this map is to get those who are good at racing to the cheese first, but make it so that those who aren't as good at racing get the cheese, too. @273488 – Press for Climbing Wall This is a very simple elevator map without much gameplay. The highlight of this map is the elevator mechanism. @273515 – Blocked Hole!... Or not Not much to say about this one. I made this mechanism map out of boredom. It’s not very good at all, and I just refined it until it was good enough for protection. @277053 – Buttons of Logic [img] http://i.imgur.com/xdnrR.png[/img] This requires logic, not shaman skill. And since Transformice players prefer racing to thinking anytime, this map very much needs protection. @285523 – Philippine Map This map is... a map! GEDDIT?! I’ll probably link to this map every time someone asks me what country I’m from. @288084 – Careful with that Cannon [VIRGIN MAP] Room shaman difficulty 7 [img] http://i.imgur.com/FNTqK.png[/img] A puzzle map I can't believe I haven't thought of doing before! There ice thing that is the roof of the shaman is the floor of the mice. It is also a dynamic ground, which means you remove it to free yourself and the mice. Too bad you can't just remove your ceiling without risking the mice's death. There is a lava thing off-screen to the right that will bounce the ice back if you think cannoning it right would work. :P @290140 – Detonating Ice Gate This map is one of my first uses of invalid friction. Or maybe I’m just saying that because the invalid friction lava is very very visible. It’s not very good, but it needs protection. @290238 – Shifting Pillars This map has been dead for quite a while now. It’s very pleasing that a mod actually gave it protection. Now it will once again be played in the normal rooms, hooray~ @291690 – Derp Map [VIRGIN MAP] I made this map to show how dumb most voting decisions are, where players simply vote yes on a map because it’s easy to get cheese. It’s at 61% right now. @291694 – Harshy Map [VIRGIN MAP] ! @291757 – Chocopistons [VIRGIN MAP] This is a map I made when I was bored. I thought I'd make something that's essentially free cheese, but the mice have to work for it anyway. The mechanism is typical rotating B moving the pistons. It's not much, but I like how this one doesn’t need protection. @296277 – Antigrav Tramp Racing It’s a racing map... with tramps. It’s apparently too easy in its first version, and too difficult in its second version. Yes. @296361 – Tramp Racing [VIRGIN MAP] Hey, this is a totally different map from the one above! @297251 – Through the Ice [VIRGIN MAP] This is another racing map! Mice spawn at the left hole. When I saw that it's possible to TA the shaft through which you shoot when you go through the ice. So I made it 0 friction, just to make it impossible to get to the cheese without hitting lava. :P It SHOULD be simple enough; just hit lava and get to cheese and hole on the rebound. Shaman can help if he wants, or if he can. :P @299156 – Siege Tower [img] http://i.imgur.com/D7RVw.png[/img] Twenty times and a hundred we have assailed the fortress of cheese to no avail, for its walls cannot be scaled by the paws of mice... until now. The guards of the tower now shall quake in fear, for we are about to loose upon them a weapon that will allow us to scale their walls at last and raid the castle of its cheese. Behold, the siege tower! Each sold separately. Batteries not included. @299158 – Shaman Tower Room shaman difficulty 2 As usual, the shaman version of a map gets downrated. I’m quite lucky that this map was accepted in room shaman, as well as for protection. @305402 – Careful with that Cannon 2 This was inspired from my original Careful with that Cannon map. It’s designed for P8, and its main feature is that the shamans have to plan together when and how to release the mice safely. @306685 – Shaman VIRUS [VIRGIN MAP] This is the second version of my VIRUS map. The XML of the first version now contains my “Careful with that Cannon 2” map. The main challenge of the map is that the shaman is caged. That’s nothing a balloon can’t solve, though. @309467 – Piñata! I did want to use a bat to break open the piñata, but I don’t have enough grounds. ;-; The mice wait inside the piñata for the shaman to release them. @312193 – Press-to Bridge-o This map used to be P6. I’m not sure how it’s fair that this one be removed, but the other horrible P5 maps get to remain. Life is so fair. @312857 – VIRUS!!1 [VIRGIN MAP] OH NOES, IT'S A VIRUS COMING TO DESTROY YOUR COMPUTER, CALL GHOSTBUSTERS. @317521 – Shaman's Lightning Bolt I was supposed to enter this for the mapmaking contest, but I thought it wasn't novel enough for the contest and so I submitted it for P4 instead. And voila. @317619 – Swinging Ice Bridges Careful when you cross! @317654 – Choco 2 Sides Once again, I attempt to make a map that would fit around a Freestyle template in the map contest. @317656 – Dynamic Hurdles Watch out for the hurdles! @322184 – Button Opposite Gates Dropping Ground Another very old map! I remade the look, but the essence of the map is the same. @322190 – Button Opposite Gates Free Cheese [VIRGIN MAP] Look, the free cheese map is still alive in its unedited form! What a surprise. @322216 – Crazy Platform Rush The safest way across this map is by just standing on the chocolate platform and waiting for it to cross the map. Of course, you’re probably too crazy for that. @335148 – Moving Ladder This one is quite easy for the shaman to break, with that one dynamic ground being the center of gameplay and all. Mice need to be fast and catch the chocolate to complete the map. @335523 – Let’s Pult~ Room shaman difficulty 6 I thought of making a science map, since I notice that many of the maps being added to room shaman are those that are only fun until they're solved for the first time. There are many solutions available for this map, and it is possible [and easy] to get the mice out of the ice box containing the cheese, even without using spirit. @336808 – Cannon 1-2-3 My first design on this map had the letter "C", "t", and "G" spelled out in dots on the blocks, as well as in grounds to the right of the cannonable blocks. I thought it made it more obvious, but I didn't have enough grounds and objects to do it, unfortunately. In addition, the structure often collapsed due to my late anchor spawn. Now, thanks to the ground contact properties, the mechanism here is much smoother than its original version. @337484 – Rocketship [img] http://i.imgur.com/0fASy.png[/img] I think I spent the first 3 hours of production on this map just trying to get the mechanism to work. When I showed Rodenticus the map, he changed the look of the rocket ship itself. That's when I changed up the aesthetics. I also learned from Holz that the nondisappearance of the dynamic grounds is a bug that will be fixed, so I changed up the mechanism to now allow for the fixing of the glitch while still having the map work. On the first 6 hours of this map, I had it played like 4 times by mods, since it kept spawn-failing. I wanted to make sure it works properly, since mice voters are indeed idiots. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the rating when I woke up the next day. After some more changes, my cheese bank ran down to around 50. @337487 – Chocorocket Sham This used to be a no-B map. I changed the gameplay a little so now shaman has the B anchor in his arsenal. The highlight of the map is still the rocket button, though. @338459 – Trapdoors My inspiration for this came from one of Rodenticus' maps with a key and a lock. I thought of making this, with the clues being the Rype glitch arrows. BLUE ANCHORS, WHY DID YOU GOOOO? ;-; @338464 – Chocorocket [VIRGIN MAP] This is a simpler version of the earlier Chocorocket map. I probably exported the Chocorocket shaman map OVER this map, and I had to reexport this map. That would be why this map has a later @code, probably. @339398 – Cannon! Hurry before the cannonball shoots! @340456 – Elevator Platforms The mechanism for this map was actually developed for one of Stron's maps! When I figured out how to make the blocks move up and down, I immediately thought of how I can use that mechanism in a map! Thus, this map was born. @342347 – Airstrike I remember getting the inspiration for this map while I was in class! And I started working on it in a restaurant with wi-fi! This gave me a few challenges, but not as annoying as those people who thought I was a terrorist or something. o.o I added more explodiness to the map. I also changed the location of the shaman cage to make it look more like a safety bunker. That should explain the evil smile on the shaman's face. @347185 – Knight From Tower This need shaman! @347190 – Ice Doors Shaman Puzzle A failed submission for P4, I never thought much of this map anyway. This is technically a shaman cage map, since the shaman is completely isolated from the mice. Try to solve this one on your first try! @347246 – Push the Right Button No, not that left one! @347253 – Stop that Troll! Ah, that red button, ALWAYS the red button. Shaman can unblock the areas with cheese and hole if someone DID press that red button. Also, RED BUTTON! @351354 – Platforms! I requested Harshy to play this, and apparently, he liked it enough to perm it while it played. It's nicer since I got first in that round! XD @351355 – Sliding Pillars The mice have a trying task here if they want to get cheese to the hole first. They have the option to rush straight to the cheese but they have to be careful of the sync and how the other mice interact with the objects. They’ll fall straight into the pit unless they’re careful! @351356 – Collapsing Bridge This is one of my “neater” maps since the bridge for me is quite simple-looking and elegant. It was quite a chore for me trying to make the anchor-breaking mechanism right. I’m quite sure that no one appreciates it. The ones who know how to do it will find it cheap, and the ones who don’t won’t even notice it’s there! @351359 – Shifting Slides and Stairs One of my contest winners! It was originally in night mode, so the way was even tougher than it is now. Try completing this without the shaman! @351361 – Pipes Avoid the Cheese This one was also made for a contest, I think. It didn’t turn out quite the way I wanted to as the rules of the round that time were unclear. This one still gives me challenges, but it’s not quite bootcampish. @352815 – Blender This is quite fun to play for me! Too bad lots of people think this is a crash map. It’s easy to get cheese on this map, even if the shaman presses the button. Just remember that the “blades” of the blender are actually disguised lava. @356643 – Gates Crashing I was afraid of making shaman cage maps for a while since Stron told me before that they were boring. I went with this one for fun and see where it would get me. I was surprised that Jamiison told me that my map had a chance of being P6. I guess he liked the mechanism? @357363 – Ice on Void Jockey against the other mice for position, but don’t stray too far too fast or you’ll end up being bubbles before the ice wall. @357666 – Magnet I can’t count how many times I’ve already edited this map, and it’s still not good enough for Px. It was interesting to see the reactions of people playing it for the first time and thinking that I somehow messed up the gravity. @358290 – Shaman Caged Tower Room shaman difficulty 8 This was one of the maps approved by Temple for the shaman room. It’s actually a joined version of two maps: The Caged Tower, and the Shaman Tower. Basically, Temple thought the cage didn’t look pretty enough so he made me add the look of the tower I made and put the shaman spawn inside. @362061 – Ice Stairs with Gaps Just three steps! How hard can it be?! @364674 – Timed Gate Tramp [VIRGIN MAP] Jump right before the gate disappears to get an extra jump advantage. The hourglass on the left shows the amount of time left before the gate disappears. @364676 – Spinning Cloud Shaman This is a sort of variation of Mapeditor’s old shaman map. I thought the cloud made it more interesting for the shaman as he can make more solutions for it. Topic-104869 |

Oh! I should explain what "virgin map" means. I don't have sex with my maps, but I often replace the XML codes of my older maps with newer ones. I have a little quirk of being ashamed of failure. I quite dislike that many of my maps are ugly and aren't worth showing here. For that reason, I keep picking old maps of mine and replace their original XML. In essence, "touching the maps' essence". I thought it was noteworthy to indicate which maps I *haven't* edited at all ever since I first exported them. These virgin maps have survived my rigorous map purging and some of these are relics of a time long past when things like backgrounds and hard mode were unheard of. You don't seem to have it listed here, but I love your Michael Jackson map (@776000). Simple but very nice; animating a person is a huge feat (which I've personally failed before). One improvement I'd suggest, though: you could use circles for the knees to cover up the space created when the legs move at certain angles. Overall it's a very nice map :3 You should definitely add it to OP |
