Let me begin my suggestion with a rushed visual:

This rectangle will be entirely separated from the physics around this ground.
You control this Free Space Ground with a multitude of options.
°Wind, Gravity, and Color will be the same as normal wind, gravity, and color.
°The default gravity will be 10.

Border determines how thick the edges of the ground will be.
°It will span from 10 pixel to however thick the ground is as the max.
Additional Border Properties will have it act like a ground in a ground but still counted as one ground.
°The border can be toggled between Mice and Ground Collisions.
°The border can be colored independently.

Mice Collision:
°If set to Mice Collision, the physics in this space will affect mice.
°Mice will collide with set borders and if max is applied, they will spawn outside to prevent glitching.

Ground Collision:
°If set to Ground Collision, the physics in this space will affect objects and grounds,
°Objects and grounds will collide with set borders and if max is applied, they will spawn outside to prevent glitching and potential crash maps.

Layering:
°The ground can be toggled and foreground will hide anything even in /debug.


What can be done with this then?


Shaman powered mechanism map:

With collision set to Grounds Only and a Gravity of 0, Shaman will be able to guide the platform in new ways without an overly complicated mechanism and avoid potentially laggy alternatives.

Both grounds space are set to Mice and Ground Only.
Borders are set to NIL.
On the left, Shamans will build in wind conditions.
On the right, Shamans will build in anti-gravity conditions.

Heck yes, this would be amazing!

There's been posts around for things like booster grounds or elevator grounds before, but being able to change things like wind and gravity would do that and so much more. This would spark so many new maps, I'd love to see it implemented.

I love this idea. Imagine, a map where there are multiple environments. You could have a space map with planets that have different gravities. This would so improve the game. /support
