Transformice, are you serious? Now first of all, if you are reading this I beg you to read from the first to the last word everything I actually want to say and talk about. I have so many thoughts to write and being honest I was keeping them inside until the "amazing" Shaman Event and I was hoping it to be nice. So, first of all, let's talk about this new event. A thread opened around 9 months ago, to announce after that it would come in one week and..well but what's the matter? I am not here to talk about the delay. How about the new skills? Do I really have to see 2 summoning speed's change while there is already one about it? Do I have to see a soul mate deleter? Are you serious? Why you don't understand that in this way you "break" all the maps which have been created to be done together and with this stupid skill it doesn't have anymore the point of creating soul mate's maps. And also, who would be so clever to put this skill that there are so little maps like that, wasting so a useful skill point? Let's be serious, next time do only one skill tree if you don't have fantasy. But yeah, 9 months waiting and what comes out? Mmmh, nice. But let me know something guys, I thought it was something linked with "Troll", and what should be the troll about it? On the New Skill's ideas topic there were thousand of beautiful ideas; why did you put those random skills after 9 months without any point? It probably took something like 2 days to decide it (even being kind, obviously). Just for saying, cannons becoming double, making harder gravity, making balloonies exploding faster, spawned object that looks like visible but in reality is invisible, taking off the cheese from a mouse.., this are only few ideas I actually have now in my mind, after how much? 1 minute of thinking. So yeah, nice. But you know what guys? it's all normal, because Transformice doesn't care about the gameplay, but about the fraises. Until it's about gameplay, updates take thousand years to come out and after they also suck (see the change log of chat, the new skills, and many other things I will explain soon), how about fraises? Well, the new gifting system!!!! Wow, so you are trying to tell me that first of all I can't "gift" something that I ALREADY have, and also I have to pay ONLY with fraises and not with cheese? Nice try. It would be so much more beautiful to gift what you have, so maybe you can "gift" everything you don't use anymore, and create a sort of "trade" on which you put fraises/cheese and the things you want to trade. Probably this idea has been considered by Transformice, but after they thought they couldn't gain enough money from our pockets and so they decided for the worst one. What a surprise no? I hope everyone has realized how much profit they make with fraises and how they just care about making as much money as possible instead of improving the game. Let's consider the last events: Halloween and Winter. About Halloween, it brang many few stuff on shop (more $$), and about gameplay? A random jackpot thing on which wasn't explained how the cookies were working (bringing luck...yeah sure) and after, as Transformice realized how bad was this event, they introduced the new "incredible" title Vampire Slayer, how to get it? Obviously using all your skills and ability right? Eh no guys, because the title isn't linked with fraises and so Transformice doesn't care about it and just put it randomly: what's the fun part of copying all those "impossible to understand by yourself" moves to get the title? Ops, I forgot, they were giving you a hint everytime step by step..sorry; but now stop about Halloween, let's go at the other amazing event better known as Winter: in this event you had to collect gifts, and after trade them to get various stuff. Well, beautiful isn't it? Yeah.....and the gifts? What the gifts? What do you mean?, you ask. Gifts aren't linked with fraises, so the answer is simple to get: randomly put. It was the worst thing possible to see how all those stupid gifts were in positions impossible to reach, like into the buildings. Wow, Transformice you create an event (surprisly full of new things on shop, more money) and you can't even take few time (2 seconds for every map) to position the gifts? It would have been better to don't place it in all the maps than seeing something like that. By the way, this is only considering the last events, because if I consider the game itself there are many things to say: why the maps aren't checked/confirmed? Is it hard to put someone doing only that? Why there are so many maps on which you die or not even spawn? Is it possible that seeing how many players are actually playing the game, there isn't still someone checking that the maps that we play can be completed? But yeah, as already said, no fraises on this, so why to care? All of you should stop a second and try to imagine how much money Transformice is getting (with the introduction of Steam they even get more, and yes, I know the game is free, but still it's publicizing Steam and his products, so I suppose Steam paid) with all the fraises bought from all of the players, and see how all this money isn't used to upgrade the game, but just for Transformice's own interest (rich). I know that no one is forcing me to play this game so maybe everyone will start to comment things like "if you don't like the game don't play it" but I still think that is important from us to be heard by Transformice and, if you think I am right, to make things change. Not asking for too much, but at least to be balanced the time used with stuff linked with fraises and gameplay. I apologize for my english, it's not my first language and probably (in reality for sure) there are mistakes, I hope at least the main parts of this message can be understood. No idea what you say but I saw something about breaking maps. Tbh, the Wildling skill tree is simply gonna make survivor impossible as some of the skills are... well... they're just too powerful. |

Those new skills make also faving so much easier...and after everyone complains about it, but allowing teleport (spiritual guide) only after the first save would avoid so many favs, but now with the amazing new skills it's all useless.... |

I agree with you.. some of those actually. There are some skills that are really useless in the ones that came with the 2 skill trees.. and I am not really gonna use them a lot. And yes, you're right, they break the point of the map and it'll be so easy for players to complete it, and makes the Shaman's life easier and will make him have more chance to get a lot of saves and he will just stand still and not do anything and only using those skills. But, I am really glad that some of these skills came, because they are helpful, and some of them are really funny and helpful in the same time, I'd love to use them in maps. And since I am lazy to just build.. I'll use those skills. But as I said before, it breaks the point of the map. And, I love the Shameow mode (is that what they call it?) It's useful and funny in the same time. Plus, those skills make it easier for a person to favo, which is ugh. And, in survivor, it makes it easier to kill the others, for example, the freezing skill maybe? If the Shaman used it, it will freeze everybody, and then the Shaman will kill everybody while they're not able to move. Time to see everybody complaining about that. For the trading system, I actually really hate how that works. I don't really like that we should have fraises to use it, that's why I wasn't excited for it at all. But the admins have the rights to do that. If it was with cheese, then I am sure everybody (well, many players) would be begging for gifts. With fraises, I don't see a lot of people begging or asking for gifts because others don't buy online for fraises, which is a reason why I'm glad they did it this way in the trading system. And you're so right about the Halloween event. Some players said that the fortune cookie gives us luck in getting jackpots. I was like: 'Eh, why would I need that?' Then, time passes, and I didn't know that the fortune cookie is for a quest, and we could be able to get a title from it. I found out in like 10-5 days before the Halloween event ends and I wasn't able to get it. The admins should've tell us what does it do so players could try to get it and do the quest. But I think the winter event was really easy since everybody was asking the others how many gifts do we have to get to get a blue/green gift, and there was even a tutorial on it somewhere in the Discussions section, but admins should've explain that as well. First of all thanks for your time and answer. About winter event I complained about the fact that the gifts a lot of time were impossible to get, because they were into planks or buildings and I think it was just ruining the sense of the event. About the skills well also on the old ones there are useless skills but the problem is that some new skills are just an edit of the old ones and at this moment I would have prefered only one new skill tree but made better, with more time thought on every single skill. And about gifts I know that maybe there would be an abuse with the cheese gift but I still feel it's just a way to earn more money. And also, how about giving 10 points for saves in normal mode, 15 for hard mode and 20 divine? I really agree with you. Some gifts were in the ground or even under it. But, it is really hard to just get all the codes of the maps, put them, and decide where the gift should be in the map. It'll take more than one month, I think. Maybe, they could just put them in vanilla maps? But eh, it is something that happened and we can't bring it back again.. But yeah, maybe the could put it in vanilla maps. By the way, saves count on how many mice got in the hole. so i don't think that'd be possible. it makes survivor IMPOSSIBLE as Merpedy said, unless they can just remove the skills from survivor, because survivor 2 years ago was really interesting to play since you want to learn how to cannon jump, or like be a pro, but now u can just use the spider web to make the mice stuck or the triangle then portals, and the stop skill which makes the mice freeze, wings if you failed at cannon jumping, (it was funny when a shaman fails) or the companion crate which makes the mice stuck too, or the skill which can make you spawn after you die for 5 seconds, and then boom the mice alive die, also the skill which makes the cheese bigger when you try to go from one place to another you get it since the sham has that skill, and the skill were you can teleport yourself outside, I guess you weren't inside for no reason, all of these skills ruined survivor and other types of skills too. At least the totem was better and most of the mice who play survivor don't use it, but they need the skills to help them in shamming in vanilla/normal rooms, and for shamming with skill trees in vanilla/normal rooms, it can help the shaman, but you don't even have to build, when you were a shaman before the skill trees were out, you had to take it as a challenge to help the mice and let them enter the hole, but with the new skill trees you can just let them enter to the hole without even moving a finger or thinking on how to do the map. tbh, I didn't like the idea of having skill trees from the first. Also, I agree with everything you said. The admins aren't caring about events, and they should care, it irked me as the winter event had the same idea of the fishing event,and for the halloween event it really sucked that you earn candies with your luck, plus it was also the same idea of last year (jackpot) and for the carnival event 2014, I guess almost all of the players complained about it as it had no idea, "the shaman saves the mice". The events are one of the important things of the game imo. I agree with most of the things you've mentioned. Edit: Also the skill "Nature's return" ruins the map. Reading through your post, most of your complaints are things that have been just as valid ~2 (or however many) years ago when the skill trees were first introduced as they are now. There's a reason why throughout these two years I have not touched the skill trees entirely apart from the extra time buffs. The entire concept of buffing shamans as they get better at this game completely ignores the game's established mechanics. It's a cheap MMORPG-esque gimmick in a game that should not be trying to be an MMORPG. More specifically, it entirely contradicts the normal-hard-divine mode progression that works towards limiting shamans in exchange for a higher/unique reward. Yes, it's pretty obvious that the map rotation that has been built up over the years has been ignored entirely when those skills were implemented. This has already been true with the existing skills. Shaman-centered maps that use dynamic grounds and are designed to accommodate complex builds have been ruined by people simply deleting the dynamic grounds and slapping a couple of springs on the map without casting so much as a plank for ages now. Since I can't be bothered to test the new skills out and have yet to see them used in action in a public room I'm withholding my judgement but since the concept remains the same I can imagine even more old map concepts becoming obsolete as a result. Scanning through the trees however, it seems like many of the newer skills are entirely generic or flavor content that has been added to fluff up the quota for two complete new trees. It wouldn't even surprise me if many of them were thought up and hastily inserted into the game a couple days before release. Overall one of the most annoying aspects of this update is that it's being passed off as the replacement for the Valentine's event when there's absolutely nothing related to either Valentine's or events about this. |

I know; I am happy that I am not the only one with these ideas and my discussion wasn't considering only the Shaman Event, but it's after this event that I started to write all, because it's not acceptable an event like that. It's also impossible how Transformice before says that they want to give more importance to events, to make a non-stop event (you know what I meant) , and after these are the events coming....I want them to stop caring that much about the new items on shop and not about the gameplay of the events. It's speechless! |

i agree with the first part of your argument, but everything else is absolute bullshit. the examples you mentioned weren't just random, they created challenging ways for people to get achievements. shop items are created so that people have a purpose to get cheese and so people aren't bored with the things tfm already has. there are over 5 million fucking maps. i did the math; 5,000,000 maps, 2 second each. non-stop, it would take over three years to do all of them. i'm sure a801 can spend those three years implementing your wonderful skill ideas. transformice needs people to buy fraises to earn money to run the fucking game. if everything had an alternative to buy with fraises, a801 wouldn't have any money to fund any of its games. excuse you, accusing a801's only purpose is for money? ![]() source research your shit before you make an entire essay regarding a false accusation. a801 isn't flourishing with money, as you put it.
