The forums mods obviously don't care if your topic is your topic. They really should ask if you want the topic to be locked, because then it is unfair if you don't want it to be. It's not like people here hate like on the Cafe, obviously. I think its the forums mods who're the haters. Let us make useless topics for once.

Ban me if you want mods, I don't give a crap if you do.

Tribe threads don't get locked because of a double post. Unless there's an extreme case that people in a thread were warned to stop, yet continued to do so.

We have a lot more rules compared to the café. We do not allow things such as spam, while it is commonplace on the café. If we allowed 'useless' topics, then the forum would become extremely messy. If you want to make those type of topics, then you should use the café.

We often have to take action that thread owners do not like, but unfortunately that is the nature of forum moderation. Asking thread owners before locking threads goes against the purpose of having Sentinels. We're here to help make the forum a better, more enjoyable place, even if that means having to lock threads against the wishes of the creator.

If you do think a thread was locked unfairly (e.g. it didn't break any rules, and you think the reason given by the Sentinel wasn't valid) you should send one of us a PM and we'll be more than happy to chat about it.
