I DID IT YES OMG

I got a successful mouse skeleton :D





I know that doesn't look like much, but it's officially ready to move :D which is just great! Look in the bottom right and you'll see very specific layers, those HAVE to be in this exact mathematical order that I'm putting them in otherwise it won't work. So it's taken me awhile to figure out how to rotate layers without rotating certain ones under those ones while also rotating certain layers with other layers, yes that sounds complicated, BECAUSE IT IS COMPLICATED.



Thank you all for being so patient with these animations I'm making, they are taking a long time mostly because this is still new to me, but with this mouse skeleton, meaning I know for a fact I can do what I'm doing, things are gonna pace at a much faster rate.

And I made sure to save the joints and stuff in a file ;)

And also, please, I really do appreciate it when you comment on the thread and not just stalk, I know there are quite a few of you who love to see the stuff I put here but the one thing I want is feedback and in this thread so it can stay active.

well the next thing I'm gonna do is make a simple animation of a mouse, no clothes or special furs, just a default mouse, you know keep it still at baby steps. Just this time the animation won't be crude, it'll be like my normal arts.

I'm gonna be animating this fur using the skeleton.



It's simple enough, but has beautiful colors, so yeah.

And here's a sneak peak at the mouse model, on paper.

Everyone, meet, Ensio the mouse, he has a separate PNG image for every single part of his body that will need to move, coming to a total of 19 separate parts that will need to move in his animation. All of his basic joints are circles, that way if I turn them, it won't look too weird.



Ensio comes from the Finnish word Ensi or Ensimmäinen meaning first. I named him this because he will be the very first fully animated mouse I will make. Wish him good luck! I'll report back to you all once the animation is finished.
