Hi guys, I've received a lot of questions on how this actually works so I'll explain it in really simple terms.

Post your entry using the form
You will be sent a random username from someone in this thread on November the 23rd
You will make them a gift
Someone else will get your username, they make you a gift
This goes on until everyone in the thread has a Secret Santa to make a gift for them
On December the 25th, all the gifts will be posted in this thread
Find your gift and your Secret Santa's name may be revealed

It's basically a huge cycle of anonymous gifting and the anonymous person is exposed (if they want to be) on Christmas.

if we finished making our gifts, should we post them on this thread?

Nope, you send your gift to us in the same private message we send you on November the 23rd. All the gifts will be posted by Bloodsyn in the second 'reserved' post in this thread on Christmas day for everyone to see.

it's not forced for you to do that, everyone kinda wants something other than that, it's optional
probably jacob is the one who pairs you with a random person, so it's up to him

No, you don't have to give them what they prefer. It's totally up to you since you're the gift maker.

It's there already, but I can add more detail.

I don't think you can actually gift someone something from shop.. as it was not listed

Unless someone is like "I want this" then it's up to them if they wanna gift you it

we know when Santahwhatevernumber will send us a message, but is that the same day that we'll know who we're partnered up with? Or will we know earlier?

Yes, the whole point of the message is to tell you who you're making a gift for. When you're done with the gift, just bump the same conversation and it will be posted on Christmas.

And yes, as said above, you find out who your gift-maker was on Christmas.

The thing is not everyone will be gifted what they want. It's up to the Secret Santa, so having that sort of system doesn't really work with the game. Also the fact that the match ups are completely random will have no impact on what someone is 'able' to gift.
