Yes, this has been considered. However, it was really needed to do this to stop the flood of stolen items being gifted. It's inconvenient for normal players, but it's better than having to cancel shop items that were illegally gifted all the time. I'm afraid this won't change anytime soon.

Alright so lets get straight to the point,
I contacted dracoleaf he told me some things, but my sister bought a steam card the day steam stopped working, the only reason why she bought it was because of fraises, so basically what this update is doing is wasting peoples money, making them buy other steam games they don't actually want? Either transformice has to fix this now or contact steam a way around it for the game, i am furious with the update that my own sister's savings she had been getting together for some time has been WASTED and i mean wasted as if its the very last thing you want to look on earth

Sorry for the inconvenience. I'll request to the admins that any future changes to the way payments work are announced in advance so this type of unfortunate timing does not need to happen anymore. That's all I can do for you. Of course, changes from payment handlers (Steam, Paypal, HiPay) may still go unannounced.

Hello, I also have been facing issues purchasing fraises via steam. It keeps sending me this message. "You must have done previous purchases with your Steam account before being able to purchase fraises." like said in previous posts. However, i have purchased fraises through steam before and also a game through steam. So i do not understand why am i not allowed to buy fraises. Any help to prevent this from happening?

This is due to an update from Steam. They have had problems with frauds and decided to raise additional requirements for making microtransactions (such as buying Fraises). If the games you have bought on Steam totaled $5 or more (I realize that this is likely but I have to be sure), then please contact Steam support as in that case it is most likely a problem with your Steam account and not with Transformice. If your previous purchases totaled under $5, I'm afraid Steam requires you to spend more money on things other than microtransactions.

I've been having the same problem. I've asked a staff member about it. They said to buy something on steam for $5. So I bought a game for $4.99, then another game for $1. I went back on Transformice. to see if it worked and it says I still need to buy something on Steam. So I told the staff member and so they said for me to come here. I would really like to know why it isn't working ):. Please help!

So when was this update on steam? I bought something that was worth more than $5 recently and I can't purchase any fraises

Some clarifications:

• Steam uses virtual "tags" to determine whether users are trusted customers or not. If you have recently made a purchase, your account may not yet have been tagged as such. Unfortunately Valve (company owning Steam) is very secretive about how to get this "tag" (I don't even know if it is a tag or how it works) or how often this gets updated, so it can take a while.
• However, I have some good news too :-) I've talked to Melibellule and she has told me to tell you that this is a temporary requirement. It will most likely be lifted in a few weeks from now. Until then, if you can't purchase using Steam, please either wait until this requirement is removed or use one of the other payment methods that do not include Valve.
• The requirement of needing to have bought a fur at least 7 days ago before being able to gift will stay.
• As far as the update from Steam is concerned: Apparently there has been some miscommunication between staff. This error turns out to be unrelated to Steam account updates. My apologies for misinforming you ^^'

Typically an empty screen like that means the connection to HiPay/Allopass timed out. This is most likely not on Atelier 801's end, but let me know if the problem persists for more than 2 days.

Since you have bought it from SMS, you must wait until your code arrive, if you didn't receive anything, it won't discount your money.

If the waiting time expired and you still did not receive a code, please check if money was deducted. If you lost money without receiving Fraises, please contact the administrators here. Use this thread to make sure you fill out all the needed information.

So Paypal and Steam won't work for me when i buy fraises.
whenever i try to buy fraises on paypal it says transaction error occurred
then when i try to buy friases on steam this appears

Hi! Im using paypal and everytime i confirm my payment on tfm it says transaction error! I would really love if a worker could get me my frasies cause i dont know whats happening.

The Steam situation is explained in an earlier post. However, I don't know what's causing the transaction errors. Could you answer the questions listed at the bottom of the first post? Maybe that will clarify things.
