birdluv a dit : Isn't sumo paint a drawing site? |
Corduroy « Censeur » 1403289060000

Satash a dit : Yes it is. I use it. Mainly because there aren't many other 'good' drawing sites that are free from any downloads. |

Smalltoes a dit : Sorry to say but I was reviewing programs, not sites. Sites are still lower quality than programs, as programs are the full thing. |

double post because it's a new day. that's how it works right i don't even remember. rant i personally don't like to read dialogue-driven fanfiction is it easier than just writing with actions and dialogue? because it feels like a script than a story sometimes |

I find it easier to write dialogue, I do try to get a lot of action in there, but it's not that easy for me. I also like to read a lot of dialogue. I do like action, sure, but just have difficulty with adding it in. I think a lot of the fanfics these days have quite a bit of action and dialogue, but since I read little of them I can't be too sure. |

Smalltoes a dit : I wish it was easy for me to write dialogue, because right now I usually just get rid of lines of talking since most of it sounds too unnatural. Mainly because I don't know what people actually say... |

I find it easy to write dialogue in my opinion. |

I'm sorry. I meant actions and all that jazz. |

Satash a dit : After a bit of fiddling, you'll see it's just the same as Gimp, actually. |
Conwolf « Citoyen » 1403404020000

Well, they're both pretty similar considering that they're both free. Just Gimp is lag free because it's not on an internet connection. |

Sumopaint is offline-based, last I remember. So no, Conwolf. That's not why it lags. |

Satash a dit : One reason why is easy to write dialogues for people is that they express their personality by speech ,instead of going around thinking about actions. Is also easier, shorter and faster to get speeches. We can compare with action and speech. Taking jerks to shamans for example: ------ "Yo f****, you suck at shamaning! NOOB" Jerk blurted out, those words has stabbed you rather hard in your chest. But it was not all. "All ban sham for killing us" "noob" ... "STOP IT!" You yelled as loudly as you can, slience corrupt the room "I am sorry..." your voice starts quivering, all left was tears streaming down your cheeks. etc. instead of giving him an action like -------- 'You heard a cry of laughter by a lone mouse at a distance. He was dressed up rather decent, but you doubt his attitude as he flipped his fingers at you, jerking others to join in the chaotic trail of comments. Threats starts pouring, screams get louder and you asked yourself what did you do wrong... You suddenly gave a piercing yell, cutting off all noises surrounding you. Tears start trickling down your cheeks. And all of this has happened because you have carelessly used the wrong anchor. *Not trying to boast myself guys, just showing an example. But yea, it took me longer to think for actions, even though it looks lesser than the speech. :/ Dernière modification le 1403404680000 |

but the action has more impact on the reader. |

techtriostep a dit : Actions give a clear picture of what is going on. This is why books are usually better than movies in my opinion. Dialogue-directed stories only give dialogue and only benefits the WRITER. Atleast in the action-directed stories you can see what exactly is taking place! |

Does Paint Tool Sai allow transparency if you have the full version? |

Micefamilies a dit : depends on which version you're using, but yes pts does allow transparency |

Micefamilies a dit : Depends. As far as I know, if you buy and pay for it, you get transparency, but if you find a pirated or free or something version most of the time they won't have it. My version doesn't; if I want transparency, I use GIMP and an online editor. Thats why most of my draws have white backgrounds. I'm not 100% sure, on that, but yeah. |

I got a pirated version but for some reason the transparency works only when it wants to ... I always save them in the same format but some come with the white background and some come as they should . |
