Special tool to remove kits |

I believe we could use some tools that allows us to remove clothing kits that we have applied on certain clothing back to inventory. That way, we could save a lot of time to find a new one and instead just take the available kits from unused clothing. The kit removing tool can be acquired by finding them around rare container, and perhaps are as rare as the clothing kits themselves, with different quality kit removers, ranging from poor to exceptional, give different chances of success. Of course, the quality of kits being removed affects chance of success too. For example, poor quality kits can be successfully removed all the time (except with poor quality remover which gives 50/50), meanwhile ex quality kits need good quality remover to have any chance of success at all. Another thought I have in mind is the ability to enhance the success chance of kit removal by adding certain items to the removal process, such as magnifying glasses, extra fabrics, and tools or precious ores. Once you've acquired the removal kit, you can use it by interacting with the sewing table. A tab will appear for kit removal, in which you can select which kit you want to remove, the removal tool, and other items boosting the chance of success. Once you've inserted everything, you can click "remove" to start the process that takes 2 seconds. If it's successful, your kit will be stored in backpack, or on the ground if it's full, meanwhile failure will not do anything, and sometimes have a chance of lowering the kits quality or even destroying it altogether if too much failure occurs. Every kit removers can only be used once and will be broken afterwards, regardless whether the process was a success or a failure. If you don't need the removal tool, you can also salvage it for 4 tools and 1 precious ores. Please do note that the chance of success and the process is only estimations, and that if this idea is implemented, all of those's working mechanisms are up to dev's to decide. What do you guys think of this idea? Dernière modification le 1523849640000 |

Counterproposal: Let it as it is, but add the ability to upgrade kits. E.g. 3 poor kits of the same type give 1 normal kit of the type. I don't think this would be overpowered, because you would need 81 poor kits (of the same type) to go to exceptional quality. (and storage space is always rare) |

I think it would still be too overpowered, since it makes the rarity of exceptional quality item to be greatly decreased, causing less risk on them. Not only that, it will greatly overthrow the balance of the game system. The game implements only 0.1% chance of dropping the exceptional quality, and looking at its great boost to your status once applied, i can see they must have put its extreme rarity on purpose. It's also the reason why I added the idea of removal success chance, since I don't want people to just run around with their extremely rare kits from one cloth to another. it's a super rare antique item, thus should be handled with extreme care. ok, I understand the balance issue. I had the luck and found one exceptional, when I didn't expected it. I've put it in my starter cloths, so I fully support your idea for moving such a thing. Some questions: Can you craft the support items for the kit removal? (Crafting table, lvl4 item?) Would there be a 100%-Chance for not decreasing the kits quality? (besides my luck, mentioned above, the RNG hates me) |

Furzgesicht123 a dit : I figure it would be wise for it to be craftable, although it will require sewing table and a ton of material to make it. Whether or not the kit quality will decrease depends on how often was it a failure to remove it. So first failure can never cause quality kit decrease, second failure have 10% chance of it decreasing, third 20%, fourth 30%, fifth 40% AND in those small portion there's 5% chance of breaking the kits. and so on.. |
