layered dropped items |

it is quite frustrating searching through layers of dropped items just to find something. This happens with both dead infected drops and player drops. The problem is if you are trying to get to the bottom drop you may either run out of energy before you can get there to remove the drops on top or it may fade before you can get to it due to shuffling inventory + the time it takes to open a drop. I would love to see drops that are too close together or too close to another clickable container (behind a fridge or shelf or something) combined with the other containers list. Perhaps there could be 2 or more menus showing which container contains which items (this really would only be cosmetic and all the items could show up on one list). This could also solve the issue where you need to be nearly pixel perfect when 2 containers are too close to each other. A bonus is since a stack of drops would only take one search to look at them all it would promote people to try and defeat multiple infecteds at a time rather than kite them away from a group. |

I agree with displaying multiple lists for overlapping or extremely close by drop bags. Not so much about containers; that issue should be "fixed" by setting the Z-order for drop bags to overlap any container; so you will always have the chance to open them first instead of the container before they disappear, and then wait for them to disappear in order to get the fixed container. |

waiting for them to disappear might close your opportunity to smash, grab, and go. my 2 cents |
