While it's not a sure thing, it appears the game may actually be Free to Play!

While I felt their original price point was to high, I'm not sure if I prefer F2P over a cheaper purchase point. While Atelier has commonly done F2P and it's something their comfortable with, I'm not sure it would be best to completely change their potential model. thoughts?

They said long time ago that it won't be F2P. Even if is true games like Overwatch are right now paid games. In the future they will be all that. Just wait when people dislike paid for a game and then paid again for extra. And then they will be free like MOBA so people will just pay for customization.

And as my link shows, they said more recently it will (most likely) be F2P, so what they said a long time ago isn't necessarily relevant.

Edit: I just hope it isn't a paid game with paid content as well.

If it was F2P with optional paid currency, I'd be more likely to play it.

Dead Maze will be free to play with the possibility to buy mostly esthetics. You won't have to pay for extra content tho :)
