Hello. You may not know me, but I know you. You're that guy who plays Kick Drum Metronome 290 bpm. Not once, not twice, but on repeat. You can't stop playing Kick Drum Metronome 290 bpm. You think it's just practice, and that's why you play it as often as your turn comes up. We all see your name rising in the list and let out a sigh. You're about to play Kick Drum Metronome 290 bpm. You're pretty good at it by now; hell, you can even get 100% when you mute the volume! But what about other songs? After devastating the dance floor on Kick Drum Metronome 290 bpm, you must be unstoppable... right? "Hell yeah!" you shout, eyes beaming and hands sweating. The next song is nightcore, and it's pretty intense as well; it has about half the notes as Kick Drum Metronome 290 bpm. You grin. Naturally, you'll do twice as well now that you've mastered Kick Drum Metronome 290 bpm. However, something seems off... you're not first. You're third -- fourth! What's happening? "Lag!" you think to yourself, "I was doing so well and then lag!" The truth is, Kick Drum Metronome 290 bpm is bad for you. Not just for you, but for those around you. Past the glee of having aced it for the dozenth time, have you looked around the dance floor? Everyone's gone. Their little feline hearts only beat 190 times per minute, but Kick Drum Metronome 290 bpm doesn't care. Kick Drum Metronome 290 bpm kills. Save lives. Stop playing Kick Drum Metronome 290 bpm. |

cool but when and if we ever get a track editor, people will just stop playing these songs and start only playing their custom-made songs with 16th notes, jacks, and all that fun stuff what will be the difference then??? p.s. 280 bpm is the magic number, 290 is significantly worse in terms of max combo. |

Unfortunately I don't know anyone who plays kick drum constantly, as much as I hate it too, so I can't relate to this. |

I had it on my mind for to somehow ban metronome songs, they are so annoying ;A; but yeah I can kinda relate. The fools who think they are pro just because they play a song with the most notes. I have nothing to say here except that I want it to stop. I also know why it's not healthy... it's not healthy for their egos. ...Poor egos. Dernière modification le 1408068000000 |

I do play that song a lot and I do put that song most of the time. I'd rather play a song which is fun to play (for me any song with a good ammount of arrows is entertaining) than any of the songs that people put most of the time in the rooms I play. So yeah I'm happy with that song, most of the time there are a couple of people who can play the whole song and even do 95+% so I'm not dancing alone with all the kitties dying, it's good competition and we all have fun (well, all of us 3-5 people who manage to reach the end of the song at least). You don't like it? Well, I don't like the songs most people choose either, but we all have the right to put whatever song we want, don't we? (Even if it isn't that much of a song) |

Play it once? I'm mad. Play it twice? How could you? Play it three times? You're officially that guy, okay? You know him, you know the one. You go to the room 1 and the guy is like, "this song is, uh, endorsed by Tig and uh my dad knows him." I AAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINT HAVIN THIS SONG But jokes and references nobody will get aside, this is BS. If you enjoy the song, that's great; good for you! That's what's great about opinions! But they're too difficult for average players. Not to mention a lot of users suffer physically from it. My best friend was playing with me in en-1 when four users played various kickdrums in a row. Half of the room vacated to en-2 and I and her suffered from headaches the rest of the night due to it. Just don't be selfish and think of other players. Dernière modification le 1408075560000 |

^ There's a volume slider. This is what happens when you give people freedom. If you want this to stop, you can: 1. Petition the developers to take away your freedom. 2. Wait for the trolling to die down, the game is very new and is bound to be saturated with them. 3. Make use of the volume slider and sit out a round. Additionally, a track editor will make harder charts available without those who want them having to resort to mundane metronome songs, which is why I want to push so hard for one. |

Just don't spam 280 bpm in main rooms. It annoys the crap out of everyone and it doesn't help when 95% of the room ends up dead by the time the song ends. I'd also like to make another special mention. Please don't play short songs to fish for padders (doesn't count 98%+ no matter what). It doesn't help anyone, not even non padders, because it just doesn't count for anything if you do. The only reason I leave when I see short songs is because I'd like to have everything count fairly, but not as perfectly as possible. I really don't care about perfect stats. Again, linking this to the stupid songs like metronome being played constantly, I'm in this game for fun, not competition, even though some people see me as a prime source of competition, which is what I'm not about. Not to rant, but I'm not complaining about metronome because I can't do it when I clearly can; it's because it's mundane and there's a reason there are training rooms for you to practice these kinds of songs in. It's not fun for anyone else if you just play the song just to see how many people die. To stress the point, I was much happier when sporty-o was the song being spammed in main rooms. I got really annoyed when someone decided to play kick drum metronome 280 bpm when I told everyone to screw off with the songs (someone had played 280 bpm prior) When the track editor comes out, I'm looking forward to a lot of variety in the songs. Hopefully, it can be shared around the community and improved by different users. Dernière modification le 1408099380000 |

Sorry if I came off as rude, my point was just that this thread isn't going to stop anyone. For the most part I agree, 280 is really boring and I'd rather listen to real music. I don't want to play it every other round either. I do think it will eventually die down, though. Everyone who thinks it's funny just needs to get it out of their system and everyone who wants a challenge will get it when the partition editor is released. |

Fxie you're right but this won't help Some people actually want to ignore this thread because they like killing cute cats :( But this doesn't mean i wanna spam it I do put it sometimes in main rooms, but i don't spam it. I do put alot of awesome songs that everyone likes That means that people will keep adding this crap until a new hardest REAL song will come out, which has a very low chance of hapenning if the editor never comes |

The editor is on Trello, and Melibellule said it was high priority, so I think it will come. Until then, 280bpm spam RIP |

Haruhitastic a dit : I didn't think this way before, but if I had to think of other players then I should replace my entire playlist with songs I do not like. Most of the time people are playing horrible songs anyway and I don't tell them to not be selfish or anything. They even play gameplays or other kinds of 'funny' youtube videos (which I don't see funny at all) and I keep quiet about it because, as I said, they can play whatever they want and I respect their choices of music (or whatever they put). solfn a dit : I play the song for fun too, because the game is all about arrows. Most of the time the arrows don't even match the songs anyway and I don't like the songs other people put so for the most part the music is just there as an extra thing. It may sound crazy for some people but for me the arrows are the main attraction in this game. I can enjoy some real music too when I get tired of the song or someone else plays a song I like. And remember you don't get to choose the next song everytime, you have to wait a fair amount of rounds for your turn to come, it's not like we're playing KDM 280 everytime. I have seen it being played 4 times in a row though, but it was rather amusing. I got really tired after that and I'm not planning to make that happen again. Dernière modification le 1408127040000 |
