I definitely agree with Sinn; I barely ever see any En/En2 mod online, but over on discord they be chatting constantly 24/7. I'm literally speechless.

And I tried to get help on Discord, it was just disheartening. I don't feel the need to recall the details of the utter disappointment of their indifference.

It's pointless to try to get any satisfaction. I give up, you don't care and there's no reason to believe that you feel the need to help us with anything serious. What's the point of you?

Sinnwidrig a dit :
OR mods could already be online.

You know, like doing the job instead of just enjoying the elevated status.

It is very disappointing to see that you still have this attitude towards the team you were once a part of. I don't understand why you keep up with this dramatic display. You know exactly how the team operates, and you know exactly there are pretty much always private moderators online that handle reports the best they can. The problems you describe are not new and will never go away, and complaining about them isn't helping anyone. None of this is news to you, so why do you keep going on with this?

Have you ever considered that perhaps members of staff are not inclined to help you because of your constant bitter and disrespectul attitude towards them? You get what you give. Thank you and good night.

Okay, so when people are discussing sexual topics in explicate detail with underage players and I can't get help, it's my fault?

You are saying that they should willfully let this continue, just to spite me? Do you not see the fault in your reasoning?

And you think I'm being dramatic because I have a problem with this going on without consequence?

The problem here is that you know moderators can't be everywhere at once, yet you're acting so shocked that moderators aren't everywhere at once.

Underaged players should know some parts of the websites may contain mature contents not suitable for anyone younger than 18 years of age. This is mentioned in the Terms and Condition which they agreed to during the registration of their account. Even though the moderation team is trying their best to keep everyone safe, it is a players responsibility to leave any situation they do not want to be in. Nobody is forcing you or anyone else to stay in this situation and get upset about the fact it is happening.

Does that make it okay that this situation ís happening? Of course not, but you're smart enough to be realistic about the fact that these things inevitably will happen on the internet, and that a moderator is not always by your side to keep the bad guys away from you.

You're needlessly gaslighting, and I'm aware there can be no satisfaction. Even when help's in sight.

As has been mentioned many times, there are quite a lot more rooms than there are moderators. We also have busy lives to live outside of Transformice so we don't have time to be online all the time. If you feel so strongly that we're not doing our jobs and that someone else might do it better, you can apply for a moderator position yourself or encourage other people to apply, but unfortunately the applications closed not too long ago and it might be a little while until the next time. Just stay patient and who knows, maybe the ones we hire this round can help turn it around.

And yes, considering that pretty much all of your comments always have a bitter or sarcastic undertone, it becomes difficult for staff (or anyone else) to take you or your reports seriously and I can imagine they much rather respond to players that do appreciate the help they receive.

Don't get me wrong, but this

"considering that pretty much all of your comments always have a bitter or sarcastic undertone it becomes difficult for staff (or anyone else) to take you or your reports seriously"

unsettles me.

I can understand that mods need to cherrypick reports because there are many and the number of mods is obviously limited, but you are basically saying that it's ok to completely ignore reports from specific players as they are "sarcastic against the moderation team while being aware of how the moderation team works".

I'm not going in depth with my stream of thoughts because I'm not in the mood for a wall of text, but I think my point is pretty clear here.

Same. I can't understand why would moderators need to ignore reports only because of person's sarcasm,.

the thing is, they don't. the more karma you have, the more likely your report is going to be seen and handled with first. it doesn't matter who makes the report

There is a time and place for sarcasm. But when it is used at pretty much every occasion, ones credibility is at stake.

Again, I can understand that, but still it's just a lazy excuse for ignoring people based on their opinion on a specific matter.
If we are talking about being good at their work this is not the case. I think mods should handle situations regardless of who makes the report, and accordingly to their tools/priorities of course. I'm not saying mods makes favourites because I have no way to know that and I honestly think it's not a real thing, but if some of them does ignore reports from people they don't like because they're sarcastic towards them that is a very unprofessional behavior.

Again, knowing who I am talking to, I'm not saying mods makes favourites because I have no way to know that

Reports aren't ignored, I won't say they're all treated equally but they do get handled when someone is available, regardless of who made the reports. It's only natural that reports made by people that have often given us good reports before be somewhat prioritised as they're likely to still be good, and fast and easy to check and sanction so we're sooner free for other reports. Same goes for reports made by players with a lot karma or when there's a ton of reports for the same person. It works the other way around too, as bad as it sounds, when people submit a lot of reports that aren't deemed sanction worthy we start to remember them and possibly don't treat their future reports as urgently as others, but we do get to them.

Also keep in mind some times are busier than others so it might take longer to get your report moderator-attention even if it's good, doesn't mean it gets ignored.

Its not about ignoring someone because of their opinion of beliefs. Its about assessing the accuracy of a report based on the way someone manifests themselves in the community, in a situation where a choice has to be made between handling one report or the other.

I'm generally not bitter or sarcastic, you don't know me. But that idea of me pervades everything of mine that you've read, I guess.

My karma is in the 3 digits, I usually summarize or include a log in my reports, and I have a lot of relevant experience. How dare you question the validity of my reporting, to continue your narrative that I'm a shrieking harpy that has no place here among you good guys.

All I've ever wanted was moderation team that was actively engaged in the game, and not being so lax that it's emboldened the worst in people to act on whim, without consequence. You have plenty of busy people that play here in their free time that aren't comforted by intentions.

I think the best solution would be if there was a /chat moderationEN/RO/ES/BR etc etc where ALL moderators are required to be on so reports can be dealt as soon as reported in that chat. If you think "Oh well there gonna be spammers and trollers" There wouldnt be if mods are doing there jobs properly and muting those who are.

TL;DR

Mods and players should have good means of communication
