But... When you're hanging around in your room with friends.... it gets sorta boring without chat. (unless those friends curse and make rape/porn jokes)

I tend to curse a lot actually.
But its usually not supposed to be offensive to anyone.
It's usually for over-the-top jokes and shit (whoop right there)

without chat, id probally get bored ...

No more spammers. Yes. I would still play it.
Besides, if I had a friend I needed to contact, I could contact them on CFM, or on the forums.

This might be a long post, but I wouldnt be happy that chat was taken away


WHY?

I have 3/1/2 reasons

1. I've been playing Transformice for 2/3 years ( 2012 - 2014) and I used to play this stupid game called "Chobots" (don't ever play it, its stupid) and whenever it was on matience I would always play this game to chat with friends or something like that, or use tribe chat to hand out with my tribe members.
2. If community platform is down, it is REALLY IMPORTANT that i use the room chat because if my friends are in the room that I'm in I could chat with them instantly about things.


3. Whisper is also important becuase, if I would want to talk to my friends privately I could do that, without people gossping and saying bad things about me in room chat. Example: ( "Mrarizone your ugly in real life" "Mrarizone your a *bleep*) and stuff like that.
4. The moderators don't do a thing about rapejokers etc, (I'm not complaining) and they tell us to ignore and report, and basically I just don't say anything in the chat, move to a better room ( I play in prophunts to also ignore the joking)
it helps because, the jokers can get too far sometimes to the point where its not even funny. I say thats the best thing you should do when your dealing with people like that, and also chat on whisper, make a chat disscussion with your friends, or make a room then put in a passcode and you can invite your friends into the room.
