Your thoughts on shaman skills being removed from Vanilla? |

^ Hold the horse over there. Skills are temporary removed meaning that they will bring them back either the first week of january(hardly to believe) or the end of the event. |

This is really becoming a problem! every time i had a shaman turn i skid down a slope and die cos i don't have my cleats skill and my acrobat skill now this is a good reason to bring back my skills |

This is really getting on my nerves. I used to only play in vanilla as it was easy cheese farming, I remembered all the maps and how to be the shaman on them well, and it was fun. I don't see any real reason why it was removed in the first place. The name of the room is vanilla after all, it's supposed to be simple and EASY to play. Without skills, lots of people chose to leave vanilla for racing or normal mode. Bring back the old vanilla! |

I haven't played in a long while so imagine my surprise when I came back after like a year of not playing and finding out that I can't use any of my skills. I'm actually quite angry. I've played on Divine Mode ever since I first unlocked it so not being able to use any skills that were pretty much essential for me to complete my builds was an incredibly kick in the teeth. It's even worse that Hard Mode players still get to keep their totem. If Hard Mode players get to keep something that makes playing easier for them then why the **** can't Divine Mode players at least keep their skills?! If people were complaining about being favorited then change it so you can't teleport mice until someone actually made it back to the hole. Simple as that. If it's classic player whining then chances are they've hardly ever played the harder modes so they don't understand how near impossible it is to complete many Vanilla maps on Divine Mode, let alone the other maps. |

I like how almost everyone is under the impression that divine mode is meant to be easy. With skills available, divine mode becomes easier to use than normal mode and thus completely broken. Delete things from across the map instead of building, giant planks with restorative effectively becoming a red anchor, spam balloons and revive the ones that die? There is literally no challenge with divine mode, not compared with normal mode where you actually need to build to get places. It's supposed to be difficult and if it's too difficult for you personally just don't use it or try and get better. You're not entitled to get divine saves, sometimes you actually have to work for the things you want. Every map is possible in divine mode, some P4 are a bit hard but with practice they're very much doable. That you've been spoiled by years of getting 25 saves every map with divine mode is the real problem, and this is a step in the right direction, now if only it were permanent.. |

Permanent? I’m sorry but you must be joking. Personally, I’m not the best divine builder, not even close. And I will admit that I’ve used skills to compensate for my lack of abilities; however, I don’t understand how you can make your judgement based off of one mode. Vanilla rooms were made for new players, players who have yet to even gain one normal mode save. There are new people constantly joining the rooms, completely unaware of how to sham and I promise you, not willing to learn with no one willing to teach them. What is the point of a completely unnecessary update to focus on one mode that not many people are even going to reach? Also might I add that the removal of skills has created an increase in shams spamming balloons, not a decrease. Congratulations though, not only have you successfully deterred players from learning divine disregarding the fact that the mode has become easier due to skills, but you’ve also crippled a population that has become dependent on something provided to them for 4 years. |

You can't expect someone to tell you how to build if you don't actually say the question and the lack of skills is for any mode, not just divine. But, even with a divine shaman willing to build that's not enough, a lot of people can't wait or simply rush hence the lack of saves I tend to have on maps like 131 or 129. This update makes me want to go back to playing more vanilla like in the good ol' days. :') edit: looks like most people depend on either easy or hardmode now.. that's laughable. Dernière modification le 1516115940000 |

Cyanny a dit : Not to blame but people used divine when there were skills. Yeah long range etc and most importantly the skill of which gives you speed in building whether someone died or went in the hole. Now without these kind of skills people rely on normal or hard since divine takes too much time to build without the speed. Anyway it's almost the end of the event so I see it as pointless for people to constant complain. I could tell you I myself spent the second week of the event in the tribe house/utility until now. Well except i've been going in regular rooms but mostly afking. Why playing when some people aren't even listening to their community? Think I already mentioned it earlier in december but gonna re-post: You see that? That's so brilliant! Keep up with the good work and soon there wouldn't be any people to play vanilla. Oh wait the game's dying so this is also pushing people towards the exit. Not gonna ask about some other communities cause all you can see is a plain desert. Dernière modification le 1516119600000 |

Daelea a dit : People usually complain about changes that might affect them, but in my humble opinion this change is actually very neat. It differs vanilla rooms from official rooms, plus it adds more challenge to the game. Most people don't like challenge, but they never realize it's what keeps them playing. Playing game with skills is what, I highly believe, got users burnt out and made them quit. It takes a little bit of time for everyone to adapt to it. |

Cyanny a dit : Well what about divinity and other modules similar to it? Not so many people are playing there to test themselves so the same thing happened with vanilla. In such a case i can just call it as "#vanilla" due to the temporary removal of skills. What makes you think of people adapting to the no-skills later in game? I myself never adapted to it and yes i did actually used skills to play. Every single person does that and to top it all the thing they did ultimately adds another reason of why i'm not playing as much as i used to do. I mean okay i'm fine if there are no skills and i can live with it but think about the others? Since we have recycled things and collector the removal of skills is the opposite of what they added. Thinking it's actually safe and people will learn how to build on divine in general but it's not and will never happen unless some kind of events are being hosted. Oh and about the "takes s little bit of time" a month and 2 weeks already passed. Seems like it'd be longer not little. And by longer i meant months. |
