Tribe greeting messages? |

I understand, this may come off as a stupid idea, and will be too hard for staff to implement into the game, but I've been thinking recently, I play a game called Tera, it is a little similar to Transformice in a few small ways, it has Guilds, a pretty decent level up system and other things I'm not looking to comment about in this suggestion- On to what this thread is actually made for; A tribe greeting message when you log on On the topic of Tera again, they have this in their game, and it's a good way to tell others you're an alternate character/account of someone, if you're busy, etc. Example: Users can easily make a log in message to show their guild-mates with the system Tera has, and it's honestly really well done. So, I was thinking; why doesn't Transformice have the chance for this? I know, it will take them alot of hard work to put this into the game if they were to take on the concept, but wouldn't it be worth it? Kind of similar for friends logging in too! My idea of how it'd function is kind of simple? You can go into the tribe or options page on TFM, and click a little window that says edit message (or something of the sort) and it brings up a box that has a text box with a limit for words you can use, users can't edit the box if they're muted and the box will just say "This player is Muted for x hours" to alert their tribe and friends that they are muted and cannot reply to anything messaged to them, though if they're not muted they can put a fun message, a "I'll be busy for x days" or just a little love letter for their SM, silly stuff, ya know? But I can see the flaws for this. Such as Spam, abuse of power, or just being plain offensive/rude. So, it'd cause alot more reports and much more work for staff, which I can see a problem with! Though if the idea is atleast kind of experimented with or considered, I'd really appreciate it because it would really help friends of muted players, and people who want to be silly. I also have another suggestion, which I suggest staff try and work on advertising problems or collaborating with other games/companies. It'd honestly really help the community and game itself! I believe TFM has thrived throughout the years with minimal advertising, which really sucks, it's a genuinely fun game, and some of the bugs create really good laughs and memories! Bringing more players to the game will allow users to not only make more friends once again, but also allow rooms to be as full as they were in 2015/2016. I joined the game around September of 2015, and started to play very early 2016, rooms were absolutely thriving back then and now, with the EN - E2 merges that happen every day, you can really see how empty rooms get these days.. Survivor in E2 is absolutely empty during the EN merge, and it saddens me because well, putting it bluntly, I strongly dislike alot of EN players for toxicity and ping differences. |

You can simply tell someone messaging on the forums that you are muted, otherwise you can literally talk in the tribe chat about it. If you meant the tribe greeting message in Transformice, I believe it was already implemented so I’d say /nosupport. |
