Add rounds stat to profile |

With the discontinuation of the Transformice API it is no longer possible to see your cheese/first/save ratio, if rounds were visible to the players this problem would be fixed. |

Honestly, I fully agree with this suggestion, but then this would drive all the statpadders away. A801 wouldn't want to risk that. |

Cyanny a dit : I doubt that, they're already content with having awful stats by doing what they do |

Rocha a dit : What do you mean by awful stats? Statpadders always say how pro their stats are anyways and they basically troll in the room when they can't get the first. |

Rocha a dit : I highly doubt many of them are content with their stats because every time I click on a statpadder's profile I find a registration date no more than six months old. This means that they were dissatisfied with the firsts-to-cheese-ratio of their previous accounts. Also, AFAIK none of them relies on stats outside Transformice e.g. Micetigri, which show rounds played. If they actually did, then they wouldn't be killing themselves every time they lost a first because regardless of whether they entered the hole or not, the round already went into the count. edit: sorry me no engrish Dernière modification le 1563143340000 |

they will make their own leaderboard ranking, but still it would be nice in the profile, /support |

I'm on the fence about this because I don't want another statistic being added to our current profiles without a huge visual revamp to make room for this -- the current profile is too cluttered as it is. I also don't understand why this has to be in-game because most of the cases I see are for anti-statpadder but I don't think that having statpads are necessarily as bad as people say they are because the only team-based mechanics within the game (that I can remember) are soulmates and the shaman otherwise most of it is solo, thus no need to be concerned about what someone else is doing. I can't really see this statistic being beneficial in-game because I think this is something more useful when seeing someone's in-depth stats on a statistical leaderboard rather than being an important enough stat to display on everyone's profiles. |

Grimmaro a dit : When you're the shaman and you're dependent on mice to enter the hole, you need to have the goodwill of those players to enter the hole in order to get saves. This is where the anti-statpad argument comes in because statpadders only care about themselves, and thus kill any form of collaboration or teamwork that is required to help the shaman reach its goal. At the same time they expect EVERYONE to comply to their wishes when they end up being shaman. And for what? A skewed first-to-cheese ratio that doesn't tell us anything about how good someone is. The profile has no meaning if it doesn't display all relevant statistics. Total amount of rounds is in this case a relevant statistic. Let's not forget that the core gameplay of this game is bringing cheese back to the hole, not avoiding the hole at all costs if you aren't the first one to enter it. And then we're not even talking about their toxic and antisocial behaviour that is the result of this selfish attitude. Dernière modification le 1563169920000 |

Grimmaro a dit : It shouldn't make a huge difference if they added the rounds count right under the firsts count. It's just one block of text that would fit right into the first page you'd see once you open anyone's profile. I feel that our main concern about this issue should be the new adventure points banner and the cartouches though, since they really do clutter the profile despite being stats no one cares about. They shouldn't be the first things you see when you open a profile. Dernière modification le 1563185580000 |

i still didnt understand, this would help padders/steppaders ?? |

Nozy a dit : The suggestion isn't targeted at padders, the point is that there should be a way for players to see how many rounds they have played |

Miss_valentina a dit : If people can see the amount of rounds someone has played, it is more difficult to buff up your stats by avoiding the hole. Even if you die, you will get a round added to your profile. It removes the incentive to kill yourself if you're not first, and encourages people to actually up their game to get the stats they want. If someone is legitimately good and has the stats to show for it, then it is not a problem. Right now the problem is that players act like they're amazing because they have a seemingly good "first to cheese ratio", but in reality they're not any better than the average player. This suggestion doesn't help padders, but instead stops them from spoiling the game with their unwanted behaviour. |

I agree with Anythin, if we had rounds displayed on our profiles there would be no reason for people to just die. I can already imagine some profiles Total rounds played: 30.000 Cheese gathered first: 2.000 Gathered cheese: 3.000 Just like that people would see the difference and anyone would see that it isn't about being good or they have good ratios. But besides that, it would be nice to see our rounds at any moment in game. So I'll support this and hopefully it will happen in the near future. |

well API got obliterated so its important something like this is considered for players who cared about their stats before this. There's no updates since july 10 and i'm betting it has at least killed some players' motivation to play |

This would kind of solve the 'people killing themselves on maps' as even though padders would want their stats to be better, they'd still most likely kill themselves just because they like to be annoying & selfish, however then we'd be able to see how good they actually are, which is a good idea when someone says 'they're better than you', and you can compare how many rounds you two played and who completed more. Also a nice way to tell how experienced a player could be. Creative idea /full support |
