this bug is getting worse and happening more often, it is when a shaman revives and somebody with cheese accidentally gets first when revived. i have seen this bug like 5 times today |

I can confirm this, I thought it was related to the setting to delay loading of background tabs but someone said it happened on standalone too which is weird |

Pretty sure it was done this way to prevent people from stat-padding. |

Force_shaman a dit : When the statpadder gets revived they start at the hole and then when the bug takes place, it sometimes auto puts you in the hole |

Froggy a dit : You can't deny that it's still a bug/glitch that is not supposed to happen. Stat-pad or not, having this is not going to be fair for anyone (especially those who care), even for the mouse who got the free first. If what you said is true, then what determines who gets in the hole first, assuming multiple mice were revived with cheese? I don't think it's necessarily going to be ping, because I never see all of them end up in the hole - of course, it probably is ping-related for two or more mice who are affected (another unfair point for mice who care so much about first and got second place. I'm not calling them stat-padders here, because not everyone who cares about firsts are stat-padders). There is still a chance that a revived stat-padder can get it, so that would defy the whole purpose (unless you know how this "bug" is coded, which would actually make things more unfair). Besides, stat-padders are also players; just because most of us dislike them doesn't mean this is fair in any way. There are no rules indicating you cannot stat-pad, so it doesn't make sense for this bug to exist in order to prevent stat-padding. If it is intended for that sole purpose, then I'd say it's a pretty "cheap" way to go about it and discourages' players' (stat-padders') way of playing the game (because technically their way is not wrong in that they are breaking any rules). Moreover, I believe this bug will just encourage more stat-padders (i.e., inexperienced players who would accuse the victim of hacking when it's the game's fault). |
