I play the drums in band, in hopes, that I will continue to be a drummer in a band.

Here are some conversations I've had with my dad(a christian).
Conversation #1:
Dad: Could you possibly give a better explanation to me about how we were created? Other than by the hands of the great lord above.
Me: Evolution. Why do you think we are called "Chimpanzees" from certain people. Because of evolution. We've evolved from Chimpanzees. And from every evolution, comes a "chimpanzee" with more human-like features.
Conversation #2:
Dad: Could you explain how Racism has completely vanished? Other than god deciding every race should be equalized.
Me: Racism hasn't completely vanished. There are certain countries that still support racism, including Japan, Israel, Russia, India, and MANY people in the United States. And what about Sexists?
(Which brings me to our next Conversation. Slightly similar topic.)
Conversation #3:
Dad: What about sexists?
Me: There are certain laws that are sexist. Including one law in the U.S. stating "a child born outside of marriage can only be granted citizenship in certain cases relating to the father." There is another law in Nigeria that says "violence “by a husband for the purpose of correcting his wife” is just fine." Another sexist law is "Women are not allowed to have “a separate profession from that of her husband” if he objects." which is in Guinea.
(Which brings us to the 4th conversation about Homosexuals and lesbians.)
Conversation #4:
(Now THIS conversations starts with me)
Me: Dad, You're a christian,*secretly gags*, could you explain why God thinks Homosexuals, also known as Lesbians, gays, or Bisexuals, are an abomination?
Dad: God has made us.....
Me: *Thinks: EVOLUTION DAD! WE'VE TALKED ABOUT THIS!
Dad: to repopulate the earth. Which means Man and Woman come together, have sex, and create children, whom will continue repopulating earth. If 2 Men come together and get married, there is no way to populate earth. Same with Lesbians. Half is the same for Bisexuals because they could have sex with a man, but still have half feelings for a woman.
Me: So.. what you're saying is.. let's say you're Gay. You're saying you would be a Christian after reading the bible and seeing that it says "Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination. If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them."
Dad: Well....I.. Yea. I would surely still be a Christian.
Me: How? How could you be a christian after learning that God despises you for who you are. I thought he was supposed to love all human beings for themselves.
Those Conversations are NOT in order and have happened in my lifetime... when I was 12.
