What do you usually do on a rainy day? I usually sit at home like a beached whale if it's cold and rainy. If it's warm outside, I'll go outside like a freak and run around in the rain. I love rain. I can't really explain why, but I just adore it (more proof that I'm a freak, hue hue)

I'd also love to hear your crazy stories about rainy days. Here's one of mine...

Since my brother and I are very stupid teenagers, we decided to go outside when it was pouring rain. We got bored just standing there, so we grabbed our skate boards (we're brilliant, right?) My brother had a cut on his knee from a week before (when we were doing another "brilliant" activity) Of course, his board swerved and he landed on his injured knee. Plus, we were in the street. And he's bleeding, but it wasn't anything too major. By major, I mean "OMIGAWSH! YOU'RE GOING TO DIE!" .... He was fine, of course. Our neighbors just think we're psychos now :3

Raining?

I LOVE RAINY DAYS.

At the start of the year here in S'pore, it's have been raining few times a day everyday lol

Ah, I love listening to the sound of rain drumming on my roof as I fall asleep.

I love rain, but I hate the fishy earthy smell after it stops.

I love rainy days almost as much as I love snowy and stormy days.

The rain, for me, gives such a lovely, content wave of peaceful emotion... I don't think anything can compare to watching the droplets fall whilst a few stray drops make tap, tap, tapping sounds against the glass windows, meanwhile you're able to leisurely sit back, relax and perhaps play some soft jazz music to suit the mood. I tend to use this time as reflection or simply let the content happiness accompanied with it wash over, at the same time allowing all other thoughts to drift to the back of my mind.

On the other side of the equation, I think being outside in the rain is also nice, more so in the summer (when it's not so freezing and the rain offers a bit of a break to the heat), but still in winter. I personally love to look up while it's raining to watch every individual drop fall together in an animated rhythm and merely watching this just somehow... Creates this feeling of serenity I suppose. You can almost forget about everything else and just focus on the rain, it has a soothing effect.

...Speaking of which, it's raining now. Excuse me for a moment.

During rainy days, there are usually loud thunders and many lightnings, so I just turn off the pc and do nothing.
