Basically a roll meme is a "Trick" Internet meme. This was a popular internet meme, where you would send a link to someone (pretending it was a link that the person was hoping for) that leads you to a photo of a Mallard Duck with wheels with the text "Duckroll" In green in an impact font. Something like this:  Later after Duckroll, another theme called "Rick Roll" became popular on the internet. The prank was when a person would send a link to someone that leads them to a video of Rick Astley's song "Never gonna give you up." And there is much more!
