You shouldn't be on websites chatting, because theres been another case where this guy tracked down a girls adress online when they chatted.

Someone could steal your adress.

Erika, that's only possible if you give your address to a stranger, or if they had access to the IP logs from Omegle. If the case is the latter, that means the site has been compromised, or an employee is illegally using IP logs to track people.
Then again... if it's the first case, it's all your fault for being naive enough to tell them exactly where you live.

No. It's possible if they're a hacker to see the numbers on your computer. Theres numbers on your computer and if they hack they can get those numbers. The numbers may relate to your adress.

Just sayin'.

The only way for what you said to make sense, would be if you have your address saved in a file on your computer. That is, unless you mean your IP, which is a string of numbers that identifies your computer and can be traced to your physical location/address.

Also, in order for a hacker to hack your comuter, the hacker would need your IP address, a list of open ports on your machine, or a remote webserver running on your machine that was installed by a trojan as part of a RAT. A RAT is a Remote Administration Tool, often/always used for malicious keystroke logging and data stealing.

That's just a part of it, too.
