what songs should i learn on guitar? im not really that good... but ill try any song for a long time. heavy metal and heavy grunge songs would be prefered

You could try some old "classics," Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, etc. Then move into heavier songs. It'd also help if you let us know what songs you do know. :3

I know a lot of nirvana songs like smells like teen spirit, lithium, and a lot more by them. American idiot, and warning by green day are definetley my best songs to play. i dont wanna do any Hendrix songs since theyre all REALLY hard, and i dont really like Pink Floyd :cccccccccccccccccccccccc

My dad can play Kryptonite by 3 Doors Down on guitar and it sounds AWESOME so i'd suggest you tried that! :D

Yeah, Hendrix is kind of hard, but it's something to work towards! (Also not liking Floyd is a sin [jkjk]).
Have you heard of Smoke on the Water? I think it would be a bit easier for you to learn,
I always wanted to learn how to play Family Force 5's "Love Addict" on the guitar personally. A lot of the songs from their first album are guitar friendly so if you like how this song sounds let me know and I'll find the others. :3

Honestly, listen to a classic rock station; most everything is really good for guitar. My dad has been playing guitar almost fifty years now and that's mostly what he plays and they seem complicated but in actuality it's like four or five chords.
