Last Day of Work is a company who makes games, as you may or may not know. They have made several games, and their focus is on simulation games. Virtual Villagers or Virtual Families are LDW's current focus. Virtual Families has 2 games, and Virtual Villagers has 5 games.

Virtual Villagers

Virtual Villagers starts off as a group of 6 people who escaped from their now destroyed home land on a new island, Isola, and must survive and sustain a population. The second game consists of two villagers going through the cave discovered on the first one, and discovering children, surviving alone. I've never been able to finish this one. After that, they discover ruins of a city, and, like the others, begin to populate that area, and discover the secrets. The fourth one has events that lead to the Tree of Life, a giant tree which sustains the whole island's flourishing ecosystem, and work their way to revive the tree and save the island from dying. The fifth one leads to a child discovering a trail of masks, and several villagers go to check it out. They get captured by savages, the people who were on this island before. They have turned away from their faith in the god, and became what they are now.

Virtual Families

Virtual Families has no plot line, as you can tell. You start off by adopting a person, then get a wife or husband. After that, you make them work and have children, so they can start a new generation once the husband or wife dies, so the children can move in, and repeat the cycle. The first one starts off with a completely fine house, but, of course, some minor problems. The second one, however, consists of unconstructed rooms and decks, along with a room destroyed by fire, one damaged everywhere by water, and the list goes on. In the second one, you can buy items, and decorate your house with them, giving it much more customization then the first.

They also had made two other games, Fish Tycoon and Plant Tycoon, the games pretty much described in their respective titles.

I know how that feels. Though, if that caused you rage, I think the newer ones would cause more, especially the 5th one. There's this little brat who runs around, and then she scares off anyone who she goes near. It's very irritating when she kept interupting my work. :^(
