Hello, I'm here because people don't seem to know how to use Tribe Ranks. This is a tutorial that will show, and teach you how to use commands, teach you where things are, and how to do etc. This thread took just under a week to make to get every picture, command and word right, so if anything is wrong please point it out.

The new update that starts in Topic-414540 changed how tribes work by some bit, now there are some different commands, things to do, etc. Please go check out that thread to get familiar with the update.

First off, you need to "Create a Tribe".
• Creating A Tribe

If you don't have a tribe already, you can go to 'Menu' then click 'Tribe' and this should pop up.




(Did this not pop up? That probably means you're already in a tribe, if you truly want to make your own, click the • by your name in the tribe menu and select 'Leave the tribe'.)

Now that you've named your tribe, it's time to organize your tribe to your likings! Time to learn about the abilities you as Spiritual Chief can do! You can find more information on making your own tribe here Topic-33319 and here Topic-26287 !

Second, if you are currently in a tribe, and do not have a tribe power it will be faded out like this.



• Customizing your Ranks!
Please look at the example below. This will be your 'Index' of the tribe ranks for the moment.




First off, you can see there are certain abilities you can choose from for this rank, including a name at the top, and a 'position' regarding 'Go up' and 'Go down', name the rank with 'Rename' and delete it with 'Delete'! You cannot delete a rank if someone currently has it. We will go in depth more later for each ability.

• Inviting New Members!
What does this mean?
Well the person who has this ability can add other people to your tribe. More people, means more invitations, etc, it adds up with multiples. However that's only if you want a tribe with a maximum of 2000 members. (2000 is the most amount you can have to our current knowledge)

Alright, so how to I do this?

Click 'Invite player' in the tribe menu, this can be found highlighted in this picture.




Place the username of the person you want to invite, Validate, and wait for a reply!
You can also click their Username and select 'Invite' to invite them into the tribe.
If they already have a tribe you will come up with "[1] The player is already in a tribe."

If they accept you will get something like this!




In the past, you used to be able to use /rt [url=]Username Here[/url] to get someone into the tribe. Now you can use the tribe menu to do this, so it's no longer needed.

• Renaming Ranks!
What does this mean?
A rank is the name of a title you give someone in your tribe, so renaming the rank, would just be a name of your choosing.

How do I do this?
As said a back ago, select 'Rename' to rename a rank.

You will need the ability 'Can edit ranks'
'Rename' can be found in the highlighted button. Click it and a box will come up.




Place the name you wish to give it in the text provided, 'Validate' and it will save.
Note you can only use Letters and Numbers. Example, '.' '!' and '?' will not work. So will anything that is not English cannot work. So 'é' 'に' and any other non English symbol will end up with an error.

• Playing Maps!
What are Maps?
Maps are also known as 'levels', they are what you play when you enter a room. These can range from P0, P1, P2(PAST), P3, P4, P5, P6, P7, P8, P9, P10, P11, P22, P23, P32, P41, P42, P43, and P44.

Map abilities, includes P22 mainly, but also Px(Px stands for any P#).

• Playing Maps! Tribe Houses! (P22)
What is P22?
P22 are the maps set as default for your Tribe House, @0 is the automatic map set for every tribe unless changed. Tribe House's are normally in the form of Houses for mice to hang out in, sometimes set for P3 (Bootcamp) and sometimes just crazy weird anything, P22 cost nothing to make in the Map Editor.

How do I set a map as Tribe House?
Now that you have some members in the tribe, you will want them to have a nice place to hang out in. Go to the Map Editor, play around in there, and once you're done making your map, click "Export it as Tribe house". There's plenty you can do to your map, for more information on that, you can see Topic-262284 and Topic-1908 !
Once you have your Tribe House, it will give you an @code. (Example @1234567)
You can also find Tribe House maps made by others here and here Topic-247976 !

Now that you have an @code click the Highlighted button in the Tribe Menu shown here!




Put the code of the Tribe House you want in the text provided, and click 'Validate'. You now have your own Tribe House!

Note there is a bug where you can place ANY map as the Tribe House. Hopefully this bug won't be removed.

• Playing Maps! Commands! (Px)
What are Commands?
Commands are words you can type with a /____ to make the game do something. (Normally in the Tribe House only.)

Here are your basic commands!
• Commands!
/np @code (Plays a Map)
/npp @code (Plays a Map in line of others)
/module [Module Name] (Plays a minigame, you need /np powers to do this)
/music (turns music on/off)
/t (Tribe Chat)
/t* (Adds Tribe Chat Tab)
/tc (Works the same as '/t*')
/chat 'Chat Title' (Adds Group Chat Tab, a bit like Tribe Chat Tab, can be used as a Public Tribe Chat)
/tk [url=]Username Here[/url] [OLD] (Kicks offline Tribe Members, replaced by new Community Platform)
/rt [url=]Username Here[/url] [OLD] (Invites Users to Tribe)

These are all the the Tribe Commands, there are plenty more general Commands however they are not relevant here.

• Changing the Greeting Message!
What is a 'Greeting Message'?
It's what will greet you when you log on in a tribe, it can include any message that you'd want people to see.

How do I change it?
Click the highlighted button shown in this image.




Type out what you need and you're all set! Validate and done! Extremely easy!

In the past, Tribe Bots could send you a special greeting if you logged on or were invited in! However they were discontinued due to LUA coding being implemented in the Tribe House, hopefully they will return someday, better then ever!

• Kicking Players Out Of Your tribe!
Excluding members from the tribe is necessary, sad too sometimes, but it must be done; when you need to do it, you used to be able to type /tk [url=]Username Here[/url], however that's no longer needed.




You can see first you need to click the • on someone's username. Press Kick out, then it will ask you if you are sure you want to do this, click Validate and the player will no longer be in the tribe.
(Note: you can invite them back anytime you want, sometimes this can get annoying if a player keeps inviting them back when you kick them but if you pinpoint who's doing it you can rank them to a rank where they have no invitation powers or kick them as well.)

• Moderating Your Personal Tribe Subforum!
In the past only the Spiritual Chief could do anything in the Personal Tribes Subforum, however now it is a tribe ability! "Can manage the forum" is what you will need!
This one is a very large ability, there is so much in it so many people don't know what to do.




This is what the Personal Tribes Subforum will look like (but with your tribes name)

First, let's start off with HOW to do this.
If you have the ability, click a persons' name and some options will pop up.

• Renaming Threads!




See the highlighted text "Rename"? Click that and you can rename a thread, this will come up!




The box under the original title is what you will be putting the new name in then click "Submit". You got a new thread name, congratz!

• Locking Threads!




"Closing" shown in this picture is what will be the term "Locking" that Sentinels use, it's the same thing. once you lock a thread it should show up like this!




To Unlock the thread, click "Close" again

• Stickying Threads!




Like "Close", "Postit" also isn't exactly known, but it's the same thing as "Sticky" the word sentinels use for threads that are kept at the top. Click it and this should be the color of the new thread!




This thread will always stay at the top UNLESS you click "Postit" again, it will be placed in a random area if so.

• Deleting Post Or Threads!




To delete a post click someones username and click "Moderate".
This will come up once you do so.




Place your reason as to why you're deleting the post, or place no reason at all, click "Submit" and it will come back up.

once deleted it will show up as "[Moderated by {Username Here}, reason : {Reason Here}]

To delete a thread just go through the same process but the OP (Original/Opening Post) needs to be deleted.

Yes actually I did, a full week tbh, and it's still in the making sorta.

Thread now has youtube adress, and a few corrections on information, including a new bug added into the P22 maps section :D I got tired of waiting for my own laptop to get back from the shop so I just used my mums computer while she slept. :x
