I'm sure everyone by now has heard the term "your Grandmother know best" from your mother, or anyone really. It seems Grandmothers always give out funny, serious, and smart advice. What kinds of things have your Grandmothers warned you about, told you about, or helped you with.


I remember when I was young, my grandma pointed at the paint outline for a parking spot where there was thing weird sticky tar substance. She told me if I stepped on the lines, I'd melt into that, lol, I was so young I actually believed it and it scared the hell out of me, it's funny because even today I try not to step on the paint lines of parking spots.

My grandma taught me how to cook pancakes and how to use the stove when I was little
the thing is she was dead
and i'm pretty darn sure that nobody else would let a kid use a stove

Well my grandma taught me how to paint (But I'm still utterly horrible at it)
Unfortunately though my grandma wasn't the nicest :/

Both of my grandmas are amazing artists and I'm over here struggling to draw a tree

My grandma died in November of 2011.

There's my lesson from my grandma.

My grandmothers were both dead by the time I was born so I learned nothing from either of them.

I live with my grandparents on my dad's side. My grandmother is a hardcore short lady that always tells me that I need to do good in school and "no dating til you marry."
