Today at school we were learning about global warming but what it does it destroys the ozone layer witch protects us from the sun but global warming is destroying it slowly but you may be wondering what will happen if the ozone layer is destroyed. Well The polar ice caps will melt cvausing an increase in water that will flood countries.It will also kill polar bears THINK OF THE POLAR BEARS.

Not trying to cause an arguement but scientists are 95% sure we cause it :I so we should try to stop damaging the ozone layer as much as we can xD

Just to give you guys the heads up, the hole in the ozone layer is closing, and will close some time in the distant future! So in a way humankind is improving.

The consequences of global warming are utterly worth caring about. n_n There are horrific possibilities that it would be entirely irrational to not plan for. or attempt to safeguard against.

There is a lot of idiocy surrounding global warming, so I'd reccomend staying away from people's personal opinions and sticking with scientific studies if you want to find out more about it. It's certainly an interesting subject but it attracts fallacies like flies.

It would be irrational not to plan for, but they are being rational because they are trying to get a solution :p

For example, the EU (European Union) placed somewhat of a law for countries within the EU. Each country is given a maximum allowance of CO2 emissions (in tonnes and also it depends on the size of the country, population etc.) that they CANNOT go over. If they do go over their limit, they have to pay tremondous fines.

E:// Just to make it clear, CO2 emissions have a massive impact on global warming, so by introducing fines, they are trying to decrease CO2 emissions ^^
