Discuss any and all games developed by Mirror Realms. ![]() ![]() According to the official website and blog, Mirror Realms is a company which collaborates with a host of international partners to bring the world's most rich and inventive new media creations to an English speaking audience. They use the Cold Gate platform to create games which are intergrated with each other. Currently, Mirror Realms has released Puppet Guardian and Magical Rooms. ![]() ![]() Puppet Guardian is the more well-known game of the two, and is a cute MMORPG which features exploring towers through the use of dice. It has strong similarities with Hayao Miyazaki's movies, expecially Spirited Away and Castle in The Sky. Although it's a MMORPG, there are no such thing as levels, exp, or stats in Puppet Guardian. The strength of your character depends on equipment and items. ![]() look at these wonderful 2D graphics ![]() cutest character designs ever i mean srs ![]() towers are also called dice game stages, and each stage has around 30 spots. you can progress to the next spots by rolling a die. you start with 99 dice and your dice are replenished when you're offline ![]() magic battles are super fun and they look cool too ![]() ![]() Magical Rooms is similar to Puppet Guardian, but also extremely different. The two games are intergrated, so your items, appearance and friends in both of them are the same. However, instead of towering, Magical Rooms is about building and furnishing rooms, and fighting with your squires against monsters which wander into the rooms! Unlike Puppet Guardian, Magical Rooms does have levels in it, which you can use to upgrade both you and your squires' stats (health, mana and attack). However, the stronger your level is, the stronger the monsters that come into your rooms are. ![]() some of the rooms are just gorgeous i mean ![]() make furniture out of items you collect in puppet guardian and decorate your room with them ![]() Both games feature stongly around teamwork, so I would recommend playing the game with a friend for more fun. In Puppet Guardian, you can form parties, which will conserve each others' dice. In Magical Rooms, you can connect each others' rooms and go hang out while waiting for monsters to appear. ![]() Useful links: Official Mirror Realms Website Mirror Realms Wiki <-- check out the wiki for really useful information on items, monsters, etc. Mirror Realms Blog Puppet Guardian Forums Official Puppet Guardian Website Puppet Guardian Login Magical Rooms Login |
