Welcome to the Fire Emblem thread!

This is a game series developed by Intelligent Systems, and published by Nintendo. It was first released in 1990, and limited to Japan until 2003. I myself don't know much about the series, as I was introduced into Fire Emblem when it's most recent game, FE: Awakening, was released in 2012. As far as my knowledge goes, it was the most popular and anticipated game for the whole series. Three of the characters contained within the games were also in SSBM and SSBB. Now, before I add more useless facts, you can head here to learn about the series overall. Have fun discussing!

Also, if I have made any mistakes on the information, please inform me ASAP!

Finally a thread for us Emblemiers. I was waiting for this. :D

I'm very well-versed in the series (not so much for Genealogy of the Holy War and Thracia 776). If anyone has questions about the series or a particular game or simply needs some help, just ask away. I'll check in often and respond to any unanswered questions.

Keep the left and right openings blocked with Brom and Haar. Use Callil's meteor tome to kill the enemy with the Nullify scroll. It can come in handy later. It's probably the toughest endgame, not counting part 4, but hold out long enough and you'll pull through. It's well worth it too, 'cause in part 3 you get to use a certain someone who fights for his friends. ;)

Which one? Radiant Dawn, I'm guessing?

For clarity, Ike is playable in three FE games: Path of Radiance, Radiant Dawn, and Awakening (through Spotpass and as DLC).

I'm happy that there are actually other Fire Emblem players here. :^)
Anyways, do you know any games that contain the Casual mode rather then Awakening? I constantly make mistakes when I first have my units, so Classic is a pain for me. :^(

The previous game, Heroes of Light and Shadow, has it (and in fact it was introduced in that game). Unfortunately, that one didn't make it outside of Japan due to Shadow Dragon's low sales. So for the rest of us, only Awakening offers Casual mode. :( But we can hope that Intelligent Systems makes it a staple and adds it in future games.

That's disappointing. I always end up getting the most strongest characters accidently killed, so they die. Classic mode is torture for me.

Thanks, but my problem is Geoferry ( or however you spell it) I always end up abusing him .-.
I'll try your method as well as keeping Geo safe

It's a strategy game. It's your job to anticipate things that may make this happen and avoid them.

True. I do anticipate things, but often they do what I hadn't anticipated. But yet again, I'm not the best strategist, so.

Indeed, keeping your units alive is a big part of the game's strategy. But I do like that they have Casual mode for newcomers.

Just for fun, I'll list off my FE games:

~Blazing Sword
~The Sacred Stones
~Radiant Dawn (was my favorite)
~Awakening (now my new favorite. I also have all the DLC)

And also for fun, my stats and tweaked epilogue for my Awakening avatar.

Name: Matt Class: Swordmaster Wife: Flavia
Morgan's Class: Grandmaster

My Epilogue: I lived with Flavia in Regna Ferox. We continued to hold tournaments as per tradition, and I trained my daughter, Morgan, to be a formiddable swordsman and tactician like myself. Concerning spotpass characters, I have Black Knight and Zephiel (both reclassed to Heroes) as my personal bodyguards, and a whole army of spotpass characters (which I trained 'cause I was bored). And then...pretty much what the actual avatar epilogue said.
I wear my Supreme Emblem proudly. :')
