Skylanders is a Single/Multiplayer game that can host up to two players at a time.
You act as a Portal Master and send various Skylander Figures into the game using the Portal of Power which comes with the game. There are currently 3 Skylanders games.

1. Skylanders Spyros Adventure
2. Skylanders Giants
3. Skylanders Swap Force

Each of the Characters belongs to one of the 8 elements. Fire, Water, Air, Earth, Undead, Magic, Tech, and Life.
The Skylanders characters all have their own Unique abilites and powers.

The Main Villan For the console systems is Lord Chaos, and the object of the game is to team up with various Skylanders you have collected and defeat him. Each Skylander on average costs around $9 for a regular, and $15 for a Giant. Collecting many Skylanders will allow you to play and experiment with a diverse army.
