Well I suppose there are no threads about this book. Now let me explain what Black Beauty is and about the author.

Author:
Anna Sewell was born on 1820 and died on 1878 at the age of 58. She started to write the book when she injured her ankle. Due to mistreatment, Anna Sewell scarcely ever walked the whole of her life and used horse-driven carriages since there were no cars or anything like that. Ever since she became fond of the horses and got concerned of the humane treatment of animals so she wrote this book.

Story:
Black Beauty is an autobiography of a horse called Darkie/Black Beauty/Black Austler/Jack/Old Crony and was there other names I've missed out? Black Beauty started his life gentle and kind until he was sold to many others, some gentle but some cruel. There's much more I would explain about this marvelous book.

Yes, I've read the book. It's really beautiful, and there are some parts that I felt like I lived them. I didn't like the way I felt on the fire scene: so hot and in danger.

Something's telling me books ARE magical.... :3
