And don't even get me started on the boss battles. They are some of the best boss battles you will ever play. (Stunning images at bottom of the thread).

This is the overworld screen. As you can see, all characters feature HP, and MP (of some sort). Though some characters use a different form of MP, such as RG (rage), Will, or their own HP, all classes can power their own types of spells, while having a melee attack. In a party, you can have 3 characters.

For example: You could have...
1 player and 2 NPC "companions".
2 players and 1 NPC "companion".
3 players.

They all have their own benefits. You cannot control companion's exact actions, but you can control how they act (including offensive, defensive, balanced, and conserve tactics).

I don't want to provide a full tutorial, I assume you'll be able to figure out the rest ingame.

Great game. Definitely recommended for any RPG fan.

This doesn't even look NES like, should have less things on the HUD.

But it's fun, besides the fact it's a slow RPG game nobody likes in this generation...

Yeah, I'm not exactly looking for this generation as a demographic, I'm mainly looking for the forum lurkers/people that can appreciate the game for its storyline, subtle charming features, and the fact that it's a retro mmorpg.

Of course the main purpose of this thread was to warn about the lack of free play after the steam launch, unless you join quickly.
