Sadly,in america,we just stay up all night long.

or in my case stay up till 2am and play on the computer.

Play video games (like now).
But this time, I'll have an excuse to why am I playing it so late.

I just stay up late with my Cousins, and my Parents and watch the crystal Ball Drop from New York City. c: It's alot of fun to watch. (: We do it every year too.

2014 is an ugly number. 2010 was one of the few beautiful years with the perfect multiples of ten... :(

so i want to order pizza 5 minutes before new years
and then when they get there and its the new year i'll say
''i ordered this last year where were you?!''

About the red pockets thing, my family does that too even though we don't have a drop of Chinese blood in our bones lol.

In the Phils, we prepare something called media noche (or noche buena, i dont know i get them mixed up). Basically, after midnight, we eat this huge meal that everyone's prepared. We start the new year by stuffing ourselves full and throwing any resolutions related to dieting :D

jk. Also, to 'ward away the demons' or something like that (well, not really. That's the actual reason, yes, but now it's just become a tradition), we have to make as much noise as possible.
