Answer: MintyStar was once a warrior (You do have to be a warrior and have had/have an apprentice to be deputy. So elader died and now shes leader), and she has been alive for a very long time, so she does count as an elder.

I know how Warrior ranks work, but once you move up a rank you are no longer considered that rank. If that was the case, then Mintystar would count as a kit, apprentice, Warrior, deputy, leader, and elder. That is not how it works, you`re only one rank, and if she`s old enough to be an elder, she wouldn`t be considered an elder unless she gave up the rank of a leader and moved to the elder`s den.

Another question, why is there a rank BraveClan leader? Like with LavaClan and EarthClan do you have more then one Clan in the tribe?

Well, the rank 'Brave Clan Leader' is there because there is also the ranks for StarClan.
So that way, we know who is leader and who is dead.

Okay since you spaced it out, it`s not the name of a Clan, it`s a title, so that rank`s for past brave leaders of MintyClan?

No no, The StarClan ranks are for all (Cats can die at the rank of warrior, kit, etc. like how Hollykit died as a kit in the books), and the rank 'Brave Clan Leader' is for the currently clan leader.
Also, the second wasn't much of a question, so yea.
