In this movie, the Little Mermaid isn't the red headed Ariel you all know and love, it's a girl named Marina (Ma-ree-na). Also to note, there's no Sebastian, instead a cute dolphin named Fritz! (Frit-z) The sea witch also isn't evil in this movie, she wants no harm to anyone.

In the story Prince Fjord (don't even ask how to pronounce this omg, Ford maybe) is saved by Marina from a ship-reck. Marina takes Prince Fjord to the shore, where Princess Cecilia (Sa-sil-eea takes care of Prince Fjord. Marina fell in love at first sight with Prince Fjord, however because Princess Cecilia takes care of him after she takes him to shore, Prince Fjord awakes to see Princess Cecilia, thinking she saved him, having no memory of Marina.

Marina's love for Prince Fjord goes to extremes, in the middle of the movie things become more like Disneys version, Marina wants legs to walk on land with her love, and talks to a sea which who takes her voice from Marina however, things become more... devestating in this version. :D If Prince Fjord marrys someone besides Marina, the moment sunrise comes Marina will turn to sea foam.

Marina accepts, and gets a potion that will give her legs. She drinks the potion and gets extreme pain and agany. She faints while her fins split in two, later Prince Fjord looks out the window to find her, nude, (don't worry, nothing gets revealed, her hair is in the way the whole movie; another reason I used the Youtube link.) tired, and extremely exausted. She does not have her voice, so she can't explain anything. Prince Fjord assumes she is a Princess who was kidnapped by pirates, because her hair pearl is so large (larger then the queens) the entire house thinks she is royalty.

After some months, the Prince grows fond of Marina, however the Prince must marry a Princess from a certain castle. Marina is depressed but the Prince declines marrying the Princess. He says he would rather marry the girl who saved him from the ship-reck, mistaking Princess Cecilia for Marina who really saved him, and if not her, then he'd rather marry Marina. The queen and the king trick the prince onto the boat, so declining was useless.

Once Prince Fjord meets the Princess, he finds out she is Princess Cecilia, he now wants to marry her, they get married the next day. Marina's mermaid friends come back to her, they traded their hair for a tool to undo Marina's spell. The tool is a large spike, Marina must drive it through the heart of Prince Fjord, she quickly walks to Prince Fjord, attemps to kill him, but stops herself.

Now with Marina lost of everything, she jumps off the back of the ship, only to be turned into sea foam by the suns rising. Prince Fjord watchs her jump and watchs her evaporate from bubbles to what would be later sea foam. He is devestated and the movie cuts off.
