Many moons ago, there was a cat. Her name was Leafshine. She was from the Clan called WindClan, who were on a moor in far, distant places. One day, Rabbitflight and Sunleaf of StarClan, who were Leafshine's distant relatives, visited her. They told her to leave WindClan, and to travel to a forest, to make the forest the opposite of what it was now. Leafshine was confused, but neverless, she still set out on her journey. When she arrived, she understood. The forest may have been verdant, lush, and full of prey, but the cats that resided there weren't. They made the forest a place of discord and betrayal. Leafshine was shocked: how was she supposed to make peace? She walked under a tree to think, but only a few minutes later, a cat pounced on her and pinned her down from behind. Leafshine struggled out, and began tussling with the rogue. Soon, however, they became friends. The other cat's name was Storm. Storm and Leafshine set out, gathering cats together and explaining their idea: a Clan, like WindClan, following the Warrior Code. Many cats agreed to try it, and Leafshine and Storm found a camp, and called all the cats there. It was there that she founded the Clan, and declared, "We are LeafClan, the loyal and fair, forever and ever!"
