If I've learned anything from Slavery and the world being taken over, it's that the slaves will revolt at one point and break free. Also that the world is going to be taken over by robots, not insects.

I'd hide under something and throw up acids on some food and enjoy eating it until the nuclear explosion is over, then start exploring

Actually, roaches are very resistant to nuclear explosions/radiation. If i were a roach tho i would still run and never stop.
