History Of LPS
Littlest Pet Shop is a toy franchise owned by Hasbro. The original toy series was produced by Kenner in the early 1990s. An animated television series was made in 1994 by Sunbow Productions and Jean Chalopin Creativite et Developpement, based on the franchise.

A new version of Littlest Pet Shop was introduced in 2005 by Hasbro, with revisions such as larger eyes. There are currently over 3,000 different pets that have been created under this revision. Hasbro, alongside various digital media developers, have produced video games for consoles such as the Nintendo DS, Wii and PlayStation 3. An animated television series of the same name is currently being produced by Hasbro Studios, and premiered in 2012. Hasbro has also created virtual pets to 'adopt' and play with online. These websites were Littlest Pet Shop VIP, and LIttlest Pet Shop online, better recognized as the name LPSO. Neither lasted longer than 3 years, but were very popular and enjoyed by many kids. In 2010, Hasbro released their version of Blythe as a part of this toy line

In August 2007, Electronic Arts gained the rights to some Hasbro brands, like Monopoly, Littlest Pet Shop, and Nerf. In February, EA Casual Entertainment announced that their EA Salt Lake Studio would develop and release Littlest Pet Shop and Nerf N-Strike.Fall 2008, the Littlest Pet Shop was released for Wii, Microsoft Windows, and Nintendo DS. For Nintendo DS, the game was initially released in three versions: Jungle, Garden and Winter, each with different pets. A fourth DS version, Spring, was released in March 2009. The Wii version has all the pets from the DS versions (excluding Spring edition). The PC version is the same as the Wii. The DS versions contained 20 pets and featured over 150 accessories for them.Littlest Pet Shop Friends, a second edition of the game, was released in October 2009 for Wii and Nintendo DS. The Nintendo DS versions include: City Friends, Country Friends, and Beach Friends.

Trivia
•Did you know the color of LPS pets eyes tell how rare it is? Blue means it is Common, Green means it is Uncommon, Brown means it's super uncommon, and Purple means it's rare also hard to find. There also even more colors then that! Inside the LPS eyes, there's a shape inside. Most LPS has the Circle shape in their eyes. They can have 1 or 2 shapes in their eyes. Most have 2!
•Some of the themed pets include Cuddliest, Fanciest, Sportiest, Littlest, Messiest, Funniest, Happiest, Hungriest, Punkiest, Grooviest, Sassiest, and special edition pet symbols as well.
•Magnets were removed from the merchandise because it was seen as a choking hazard.

And I still have some of the magnets ones too.

And yeah, I don't like the Blythes either, it was a lot better with only pets.

I have like 150 LPS; I used to collect

I don't anymore because I really don't like the new ones, but I found it super-fun playing with them a few years ago
