"Homer accidently caused a meltdown that wiped out Springfield. D’OH! Now, it’s up to you to rebuild it!"

The Simpsons: Tapped Out was created by Electronic Arts/EA Swiss Sarl . It is available on the Amazon Appstore, Apple Appstore and Google Play and is free to play, but offers a paid service, "doughnuts", to get certain characters, buildings or decorations (but who needs all the fancy real-money stuff anyway?!)

The story is, Homer accidently caused a nuclear meltdown, and exploaded Springfield, casuing all of the residents but himself to be blasted away, and it is your job to re-build it to it's former glory.


You can play the game anonymously, but it is better to make a Origin Account, as then your town is secure, and you can play on your town on multiple devices.

Its a pretty fun game for those who like these sort of games (known as "casual" games), as well as fans of The Simpsons.

The game is recommended for those which are 12 and over.

It does take quite a while to download...but it is worth it, and the game is updated regularly
At the moment, they are updating it every week to correspond with the new The Simpsons episodes every Sunday
There are also events such as Christmas, Valentines Day and St Patricks Day.

Currently, they are celebrating Easter! (pictures to follow)
However, in Springfield, it is "Whacking Day" (you might have seen the episode with the residence of SF trying to whack all the snakes etc. etc. with the episode)
