yes it happens a lot in the philippines because of the storms and floods

in hurricane sandy 2 years ago we had a blackout that lasted 2 weeks...it was so horrible with no heat or electricity and especially no internet omg

All the time here in Missouri, either we have tornadoes and huge storms that knock trees down into wires, like tonight, or ice storms in the winter when the same thing, trees fall on wires. They happen all the time in India as well.

Yes I do, the power flickered a few times actually

during the may 2010 floods in tennessee i had no power for nearly a month

During my childhood we had quite a few blackouts, but nowadays we rarely have blackouts - maybe 2 or a couple more during the past 3 years? -. I live in the southern parts of Arizona (Mariacopa County), there aren't much severe floods here anymore.

Although at my family one-month trip to Vietnam, blackouts were pretty frequent with the tropical climate.. During that month we've probably had about several blackouts during the night. It wasn't really scary because the city [Bien Hoa] is very lively, even at night. The city is structured very differently and most people use motorcycles or bicycles there.

One time in the summer I was looking out the window and the power went out and I was looking at the town from my house and all the lights in town went off too for no reason.

We've had backouts before. I was really young for both of 'em, though. One I remember because the AC was shut off too and it was hot as hell.
The second we had to go to my dad's car garage because it had power and the house didn't. I remember I was really worried about our dog lmao

I remember having blackouts repeatedly on the middle of summer. I had to lay around the sofa, and even reading a book for me is hard since my hand at that time was sweaty
