I can't believe you haven't read this series yet, i've read all the books, but what im shocked about is how you just found out about this. This series was out like 5 years ago.

The writing style is AWFUL, and of all this guys' books, this story line was terrible.
I like his Egyptain ones more ;;

I actually had "The Lightning Theif" since it came out.
Never had time to read it though. I started reading it I believe, January.

The Egyptian series is called, "The Kane Chronicles".
I believe my friend read that series and told me that Carter (one the characters) meets Percy. <3

I only read the first series, the second series got me bored at the first book, however HOPEFULLY I will read it again as apparently the first book in Heroes of Olympus is shit.
Anyway though, Rick is a great writer, but his books started to get a bit tedious in my opinion, especially for his egyptian one...

Anyways, I thought the "Heroes Of Olympus" would have sucked, but surprisingly; it doesn't.
Though, I'm only on "Son of Neptune" so don't listen to me. o3o

Last; I heard in the book that's coming out Fall 2014, "The Blood of Olympus", a few people don't make it out.

There actually is a small story about them meeting written by Rick Riordan. It's called The Son of Sobek that you can read online.

i read this series

in my school library we have them so i just took the 3rd book, The Titan's Curse

and then i took the 2nd book, The Sea of Monsters

until then i realized i was reading the series backwards
