| Grey Goo is an RTS (Real Time Strategy) game developed by Petroglyph Games, whose team consists of a lot of the members from Westwood (who developed the Command and Conquer series, got bought out by EA Games, and then shut down). It consists of 3 factions; humans, beta, and the goo, all with very different gameplay mechanics and ways to play the game. I can't really do them all justice in words, so I recommend you take a look at the gameplay trailer and read about them yourself.  You can sign up for the beta at greygoo.com/beta today, which will start pretty soon. The game is scheduled to be fully released on Steam in the next few months.  I can't state how happy I am that this is coming out so soon, I've been a big fan of a lot of the people in Petroglyph for a long time and adore the Command & Conquer games, knowing that they're working on more similar games makes me giddy beyond excitement. |
