"An immersive, 3D wildlife simulation game, WolfQuest challenges players to learn about wolf ecology by living the life of a wild wolf in Yellowstone National Park.


The single-player game consists of two episodes. In the first episode, Amethyst Mountain, players explore the wilderness, hunt elk, and encounter stranger wolves in a quest to find a mate. In the newly released second episode, Slough Creek, players find a den, establish a territory, raise pups and defend them from predators such as coyotes and grizzly bears. Online multiplayer games let up to five players form a pack to explore and hunt together.”

Purple/pink in one spot:
Elk carcass. Easy meal

Green:
Coyote. Kill on sight if you have pups

Light-ish blue:
Bear. Avoid, or risk killing it for the sake of your pups

Orange:
Hares. Hard to hunt them, and feed very little

Battle/Defeat/Interact with at least one wolf in each of the territories. Then, find one of the opposite gender and to start a pack click:

Hunt Elk:

W+Shift. Dont allow them to get into the water, because even though it slows them down, it slows you down too. Aim for one, there’s always one that has lost more health than the other

Attack from the rear, and click Space Bar or Left Click when the “Bite” sign shows up. It looks like a wolf howling, and it is colored red

This might take various attempts to kill it, and when it’s near death, the Elk faces you, and doesnt let you get near it’s rear. You cant attack from the front, so you must get to it’s rear end as quickly as you can and give it a killing bite

Find Hunting Grounds:

Click “M” for “Map”. The large orange blotches are hunting grounds. Also, there’s the compass at the top left of your screen. When you see the “Elk” sign on it, face that direction. If it’s faded, it means it’s very far away. The stronger the color white is, the closer it is. Same with finding wolf packs

Cross the Creek with Pups:

Set out on your own before you accept that quest. Find the shallow edge of the river, where you can cross without having to swim. Take your pups, one by one, over some part where there isnt much grass. The grass wont give any cover, and it’ll make it hard for you to find them! Your Mate will help taking the pups, and defending them too. They wont hunt for you though!

When youre trying to cross the creek, there’s one more worry: You left your territory, there are more Grizzley Bears, Coyotes, and another threat: Eagles! You’ll need to cross the lake quickly. Make sure you have an Elk carcass in sight, so you can feed your pups as soon as possible once you crossed the creek. They’ll be near death! If youre lucky, you’ll manage to save them all... I only got one saved :c

Defeat A Grizzley:

I havent yet defeated one, I remember reading you have to give it three bites and it’ll flee, but I doubt you can kill it. It can kill you very easily. Do not approach one if it’s eating an Elk, they’ll attack you if you even get near!

If theyre not eating, they will flee from you, but, just like coyotes, they will come back. It’s best for you to try your best at attacking it and making it flee for good, they can kill your pups!

Albino Wolf Pup & Secret Den

In order to get these, you must get 50,000 EXP, by DEFEATING enemy wolves. There is a way to cheat those 50,000.

Go up to a wolf, and attack it. When it says “I give up”, choose “Leave!”. Just when he says “I can take a hint”, be quick, and press ESC, then select “Pack Stats”. You’ll see your EXP progressevly become more. It might take a few tries though.

Once you have that, go to Slough Creek. The den is in between the two dens in the corners.
When youre ready to start a pack, one of your pups will be white. That is the Albino pup.

There you go!

Make Your Pup Your Same Fur Color

Take a pup of choice, and go and attack a enemy wolf in your territory. You dont have to battle him, just interact with him. Then, you can pick up your pup again and go back to the den. You’ll see the fur color has changed, if you compare it to the other pups’.

And there you go!

You dont have to have an account. You need to get one in order to play Multiplayer, not single player.

Press ESC, and look in the menu opened up. There should be a “Save Game” Option. THEN you quit game c:

When you find a female (If you're a male) enter all the wolf grounds
Once you have enter any one
If it still doesn't work, exit and re-enter the territory as many times as you need to
When you find the wolf you need, do this:
